I was just listening to MOST of Obama’s speech and I have a few thoughts.

1. Castro retired today (I guess HE won’t be retiring to Boca Raton) so someone had to take on the role of multi-hour speaker.

2. Obama keeps talking about this horrible land called America where, from the sound of it, children are starving and there is constant war and fear. I’m sure I’ve never been to the place, though it sounds like a terrible country. It’s OK though, the Jr. Senator from Illinois is going to get the government to help with EVERYTHING.

3. Hillary got here by believing her own press, Mr. Obama appears to be heading down the same road, wait till he finds out he can’t walk on water.

4. Obama has given hope to millions, including the throughly defeated Al-Qaeda Iraq, which will find itself with a surprise victory if Obama should become President.

5. Dear Mrs. Obama, the country I live in and love is not on probation.

And a well intentioned fool like Obama is much less of a danger than the slick criminality of the Clintons, which would become embedded permanently in our government.

You can't win an election and lose the white male vote by 21 points. I know it's not popular among pundits to talk about it, but it's a fact, pure and simple.

Hillary hates us white males, and we hate her right back. It's kind of a reverse symbiotic relationship.

The only way she can win now is if the party poohbahs steal the nomination for me. Obama will win all the rest of the states from here on out.

He thinks if we “stop the war”, we will have lots of extra money to spend. Doesn’t he realize that the entire war is being financed, and that we need to pay it back?

This has always been he Left's big problem with the war. They really don't car much about wars, per se. They just hate it when war spending dries up the cash flow to social programs and expanding bureaucracy.

Empty suit or not, Obama is way into attracting voters of all kinds who are not and never will be politically aware. However, they will jump on his roll to be part of something they think is bigger than dumb ol’ issues.

These people won’t even know McCain is running, let alone vote for him.
