I actually heard Bush say that “his wife” didn’t like him saying that.
However .. people didn’t realize that Laura was a LIBERAL and pro-choice. I’m sure she was not happy about his “bully” statements. And .. you’re right .. the rest of the country LOVED IT. I think Laura was intimidated by the media’s portrayal of her husband.
BUT .. WE DIDN’T ELECT HER - WE ELECTED HIM BECAUSE WE BELIEVED HE WAS TOUGH!! And .. he is when his wife lets him.
I differ from some of you in thinks this nation will have the will power to fight Islamofascism much longer, I think the uS will fall faster than Europe....

British state school history books have eliminated Churchill. How they can cover WWII without mentioning him, I don’t know - but they do, apparently because Muslims hate him and complained about his presence in British school books.
Yes, that’s very true. I didn’t realize Laura was so liberal, although, IIRC, Barbara Bush was supposedly pretty liberal, too. Maybe we shouldn’t let our male presidents be married!

Well .. I think it’s better that they’re married .. except in the case of Clinton when he never acted married .. while it was well-established that the Bush families had good marriages.
In the case of McCain .. his wife is a FAN of Hillary’s - and during the 2000 campaign - she was even seen wearing a “Hillary pin”. I remember it distinctly, but I haven’t been able to find a picture of it. Here we have a much more liberal wife married to a RINO. Good grief.
I'll ALWAYS remember how GW almost single-handedly held this country together after 9-11. And Laura was rightly titled Comforter In Chief. Those legacies will follow both of them I believe, and rightfully so.

I agree. I wasn’t criticizing Laura. I have always thought that she and Barbara Bush were two of our best First Ladies - they may have had influence (and for some reason, women seem to tend toward liberal) but at least they didn’t seem to believe they were elected, too!
It is known that there are numerous Hizbollah in South America. Just take a trip north into Mexico and through our lax borders and set up shop.
