In a recent column at mindingthecampus.com, author and commentator John Leo noted that although former Harvard president Larry Summers was given the boot by leftist profs for telling "unwelcome truths," Duke University president Richard Brodhead would apparently not suffer the same fate after the Duke “non-rape” case.

Leo’s column reviewed Brodhead's actions, including his firing of the lacrosse coach without “finding that the coach had done anything wrong,” and his refusal “to look at the overwhelming evidence, offered to him by defense counsel, that the boys were innocent.”

“When racist black professor Houston Baker bitterly and falsely denounced the three white players, . . . he said nothing . . .and did nothing when death threats were made against the three.” Leo finally concluded that ...

Academia is a microcosm of everything wrong with our country.

OK, let’s fix it. No professor should be given tenure unless they’ve spent at least five years in a private sector job. Trustees should not look to academia in hiring university presidents, but to private corporations.

My alma mater, Indiana University, hired John Ryan as president back in the early 1970’s. He was hired away from his CEO job at Indiana National Bank. Under his leadership, IU’s School of Business was in the top 5 nationally. Since he left, a parade of academics took over. The business school ranking plummeted (along with the standing of most schools @ IU). My son, with my blessing, attends Purdue because the Krannert School of Management is now better than IU.

You very seldom hear anything of or from White folks anymore unless it is something racist and that is what I speak of. This crap has been pumped out by the press and MSM and the NAACP for 50 years now and enough is enough. Black on white crime is 8-12 times higher in America today than vice-versa. Everytime a white tangles with a black it is considered racist and blacks more than double the same type crimes. Spew your crap where you wish but dont tell it to me unless you get the chance to do it eyeball to eyeball one on one Zero!

Anyway, you’re just mad because I made fun of you complaining about the fall of the white man. If you’re worried so much about crime being committed on you, get a gun (and hope you live in the South or the West).

Otherwise, you’re still in the 70% majority of this country and I’m in a 11...maybe 12% minority of it. Any rational person would be more worried about the liberal wing of whites then in blacks.

Just another bit of B/S. According to the Census Bureau it is 13% plus. They count quite of portion of Hispanics white in all statistics. For a person to work were you say,I thought you expected Zero tolerance. You are right I am more worried about the Liberal Wing of Whites than I am the black race because they have the ability to manipulate the black race and whites like a pawn and it seems you are quite willing yourself. For your information I do own a gun but am getting a bit old and feeble but I do not mind dying even though I would love to live 25 more years if I am not a burden to anyone.When you the Hispanics,and whites in the middle to lower classes learn to work together it will never improve. This country has been manipulated by the powers to be so long we are afraid of the truth. Regardless of who is the leader in politics it will always be the rich and powerful that manipulate the system. It is a class issue and has always been.
