Ok HELP HELPHELP…No Matter what we say, we are going to vote McCain…Hold you fire until I finish…I was toying with voting for Obama to stick it to the Florida Republican Party, but I have changed my mind…Granted we will have only 3 viable choices (stay home, Republican or Democrat) what will we do come Nov? ….Nobody is going to stay home…Pick the most palatable socialist? …It has to be McCain…for a campaign pin we need clothes pins with “Nose Holders for McCain”… Defendingliberty

"It seems that every day we get vanity threads from the Inarticulate For McCain’t Party."

I guess they don't know what the meaning of the word "NO" is.

I don’t plan to “disable” McCain. But for him to claim ownership of my vote without addressing the issues that are important to me (in fact, regularly working against the issues that are important to me) is illogical.

Neither of the rats will cut and run while THEY"RE in power, They just want to do it and hang the loss on us.

You want those nice folks in gitmo to be tried in our courts, and be given all our intelligence? Then McCain's your man! He'll make sure there are no more illegals too!

Yeah, you're right - he's REALLY conservative.

“Who knows? But, I’m a conservative first and chose to vote GOP only in so far as it promoted my values and principles. I’m not going to support a party or its candidate when they and he are nothing but “Democrat-Lite”. Voting for that nasty old piece of work is something I cannot do.”

Fair enough, but don’t blame the Republican Party for nominating John McCain. Blame all the conservatives who didn’t support Thompson and Hunter.

There is still a chance for a brokered convention.

A slight and diminishing chance.

[for a campaign pin we need clothes pins with “Nose Holders for McCain”… ]

Very cute. I am on the train as well, but I think it does no good to recruit others before they are ready. Just my take. If someone says to me “you must vote X” then I am likely to vote Y.

Nobody is going to stay home…Pick the most palatable socialist? …It has to be McCain…

None of this matters. In spite of what you read here, most conservatives will, in the end, hold their noses and vote for McCain. They will not, however, have written the checks, pounded the pavement, manned the phones and talked up the candidate they believe in. Therefore, McCain will be crushed.

The party's future is not as important as the country's future and the future of conservatism. A deep mole RINO like McCain can do us a lot more damage than HillObama.

I just have to disagree, then. Winning by losing is just too risky of a propect to me -- Supreme Courts and entitlement programs take a long time to reverse.

You moderate dopes can post as many idiot vanities as you want, but it’s still not going to convince to vote for your fellow moderate McCain.

“...I’d say McCain’s thinking he can get us to change our minds and support him on amnesty too....”

I see your point....

What are your possibilities? 4 years of Hillary or Obama or 8 years or more + 4

The same way the media will be behind them this time around, the media will be behind them in 4 years from now than what?

I am proudly supporting John McCain and am counting the days until I call him “Mr. President”.

I will stand and fight McCain with passion on a few issues.

But, I will stand and applaud McCain with equal passion for his commitment to national security, his respect for and honor of our soldiers, his commitment to stopping out-of-control government spending and his promise to continue Bush’s tax cuts, his commitment to securing our borders, his belief that judges should interpret, not rewrite the Constitution, and his absolute love of America.

I know I’m a minority voice on FR....but, I am here.

I am beyond disgusted with so called Republicans using class warfare tactics AGAINST FELLOW REPUBLICANS.

Your snarky comments are shameful and belong in the Huckabee camp or DNC.

I had what felt like bricks on my chest when I saw the handwriting on the wall as to our nominee..I have come to the conclusion that I cannot have either Hillary or Obama on my conscience if they win the Presidency so I will pull the McCain lever and pray he gets some conservative judges appointed to the Supreme Court.

Are you smoking crack? How the HELL was he hurt? He's getting the nomination.

What's that tell the other RINOS?
