If only Huckabee had half the class of Romney.

Huckabee has been keeping the McCain buzz alive the past few weeks. That’s his role.

No, he won with dignity. The real losers are those continuing to support this goofball.
To: MoonMullins
at least Huckabee has always been pro-life. He didn’t just decide to become pro life when seeking a presidential nomination

There may be very good news on the horizon.
Romney is going to endorse McCain today.
That is a sad turn of events but a sacrifice that he feels he must make for the party and the country.
Now here is the possible good news. If Mitt can give McCain his delegates than McCain will only be about 75 delegates away from the clinch and the END OF THE HUCKABEE NIGHTMARE.

The alternative is to concede the party nomination to a nutcake liberal.
No thanks.

Just like his kids? Ask that dog they tortured & killed.

If Mitt can give McCain his delegates He can't. All he can do is encourage them to vote for the guy on the second ballot.

And Huckabee is still a scum.
To: MoonMullins
IMO, Huckabee is trying to strengthen his conservative credentials for another run at the White House. In four years he can point to the 2008 primaries and say "I was the only candidate who had the cajones to stay in the race and uphold conservative principles,"
...or something like that.
To: DannyTN
Oh yeah... and Romney is still beating Huck.
To: elizabetty
you never actually thought Huck could win, right?

Possibly. And then people will look at the numbers and figure out he is still in third place behind a candidate that isn’t even running....and will probably finish in third place.... which doesn’t bode well for that loser.

Find a grown up who knows how to read and have them read to you Mitt Romney's record on life. To deny that Mitt Romney was strongly pro-choice in the relatively near past (pre-2004) is to deny the sun rises in the east.

I voted for Romney in the California primary. That said, I'd prefer the Huckster over McCain and wish Romney hadn't done this.
As governor, the Huckster was accommodating to illegals and his new-found hard-line on immigration isn't entirely credible. Still, that puts him miles ahead of McCain, who is scum -- a committed enemy of American borders, language and culture, who still supports his nation-destroying scheme to explosively increase 3rd-world population transfers into our homeland.
