Romney has withdrawn and asked his delegates to support McCain.
Well, Huckabee is a Baptist and Romney is a Mormon.
Romney just injured Huckabee’s chances.
Therefore, Romney is injuring Baptists.
To sum it all up, it must mean he’s bigoted against baptists.
/sarc.
LOL! Good one. :)
The only problem with your logic is McCain recently converted to the Baptist faith, so maybe it’s Baptist of the Southern variety Mitt hates.
Neither was Bush nor Clinton...We have not had a conservative in the White house since Reagan.
Now it will end up being minimum of twenty years...maybe twenty four years.
Looking at it like this, one can certainly see why our country is in imminent danger.
If all you supposedly conservative voters keep voting for liberals....well, we just gotta wallow in the mess.
I will bet you a $20 donation at the next FReeperthon that Duncan Hunter also endorses McCain (assuming he gets nominated).
>Good career move for the principled conservative.
Except none of them are running.
Definitely very wrong for Huckabee to do. This Romney supporter and volunteer will now support McCain.
I’ve been in a snippy and snitty mood for a week now. Unfortunately I’m not playing very nice, and I apologize, but I’m glad I can make you smile.
Where did you get the idea that I supported Obama or that I planned on voting for him? I know he is a socialist but I don’t know if he is rotten as Clinton is. I will probably hold my nose and vote for McCain though he is going to need a lot more help than my vote.
Welcome home.
Does this mean we’re friends again?
I’m probably switching to independent as soon as I get a chance to vote against McCain & Huck in the Mar primary.
If Keyes or Paul goes to the Constitution Party, maybe I’ll support them.
Hillarious! I have to watch more TV.
No you hate Romney. Your posts drip with it.
You call yourself Reagan man, but I don’t remember President Reagan ever being so full of hate.
“Romney as VP......and....
No Senator, elected President, has survived his 1st term!
I feel fine thank you!”
Good answer. I’d love to see Romney as VP, but I doubt McCain would choose someone who’s obviously a lot smarter than himself, which means his choices are pretty limited.
At this point, while we are certainly not happy with the choice of McCain, Hillary or Obama, anything that keeps Huckabee off of our ticket is a good thing.
I’d say, judging by today’s endorsement, Lincoln Chaffee is now out of the Running, however, Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins, and Lindsay Graham are all still in contention to be McCain’s VP.
“And yet Mitt gave his votes to McCain.”
Well, that shows that Mitt at least isn’t vindictive (unlike McCain).
“Romney had collected 286 delegates before he suspended his campaign two weeks ago.
Those delegates would give McCain 1,013 total delegates, 78 short of securing the nomination.”
Technically, it doesn’t say Romney gave his delegates to McCain. If you have a link that states so, please post it.
“Yeah Mitt. Now you can dispense with the talk about change, and not being tied to those in the beltway.
You are a stinking liberal.
You show your true colors now”
“If you claim to be religious, but don’t control your tongue, you are fooling yourself and your religion is worthless.” James 1:26
No need to apologize to me!
I’ve read back through your posts on this thread and I’m in agreement with you.
Take care.
