Time to Stop griping about McCain and start working to defeat the 'Rats
2/13/08 | Self

Posted on 02/13/2008 3:08:13 PM PST by Blood of Tyrants

Face it. It is all but inevitable that McCain win the race for the GOP presidential nominee. Get over it. McCain will be the GOP nominee.

The time for divisive talk about how much you hate McCain for screwing the conservatives and how he is a RINO and his other faults is over. WE are doing NO ONE any good by continuing to publicly air our grievances about him. I know, I have done my share. I don't like him one bit, but he will be a far better president than either of the two 'Rats.

With the atmosphere as anti-McCain as it is, it would not be hard for a liberal posing as another McCain hater to sneak in and keep throwing rocks at that hornet's nest. So let's tone down the rhetoric and the vitriol aimed at him and TRY to find a common ground with him.

McCain, we can hope to influence and guide. Obama and Hitlery will absolutely NOT listen or compromise on any conservative issue.

We know that there is absolutely no way that the 'Rats will make the Bust tax cuts permanent if there is a 'Rat in the WH.

We KNOW that any Supreme Court judge who retires or dies will immediately be replaces with a pro-abortion, anti-gun, anti-freedom liberal; probably from the 9th Circus.

We KNOW that there will be nothing but pure amnesty and absolutely no border enforcement if a 'Rat gets the WH. The 'Rats NEED poor, uneducated, miserable people to advance their socialist agenda.

It is time to stop bickering and hating McCain and stop the postings about how you will sit home and watch Obama or Hitlery become the next president. That is worse than stupidity. It is admitting defeat and quitting.

And I for one will not give up and pout at my home on election day.

So here it is:

McCAIN FOR PRESIDENT!

Dem Strategery

DEAN: You got the nomination sewn up, Barack, Now ya gotta think Orwellian: “Winning is Losing.”
OBAMA: I don’t ….
REID: He’s right, Barack. You win in November and their base puts grievances aside, unites, and becomes energized. They’ll sweep us away in 2010 and you in 2012.
PELOSI: But if you lose to McCain, their bosses’ll spend all their time trying to keep peace between the Maverick and his, in theory, constituents. Eventually, centrifugal forces thin out and fracture the repugs, maybe for decades. We’re sitting pretty, and you too, for the next few go rounds.
OBAMA: But how do I ….
SCHUMER: Counterintuition, Barack. Pick Senator Byrd as your running mate. Say lofty things about forgiveness and tolerance and opportunity for the aged and mentally infirm. Voters will turn away while admiring your inclusiveness.
DURBIN: Start championing regressive taxation. Rail about tax breaks for the poor. That’ll take your numbers down with our people, but only in the short term, and at the same time plant a positive seed in the minds of moderates and independents for 2012.
BARACK: I’m not sure ….
PELOSI: Do it, Barack. For the children.

Even Reagan wasn’t perfect. He gave us O’Connor and Kennedy as Supreme Court justices and neither of them were all that conservative. He also signed the amnesty bill and the bill that outlawed manufacture of new machine guns for private ownership.

If McCain can do that well, why would you not vote for him. You must keep your eyes focused on the whole forest and not just the trees in front of you. It is almost a guarantee that Stevens (appointed by Ford) at nearly 88 years old will step down within the next 4 years. Ginsburg is 75 and not in great health.

Would you rather that Obama or the Hildebeast replace them with clones of themselves who will keep abortion legal for another 50 million dead babies? How do you think they will rule on the second amendment?

Focus on logic.

From you own "about page":

"I believe that liberals are either willfully ignorant to the hard truths of life or evil."

Which could do with an edit.

"This plain declaration of mine will probably draw fire."

Dear Blood, et al:

Since McCain can't win the general election, you fellas ought to just relax. Moot point.

Besides, McCain will get most of the Republican votes anyway, so I don't know why you need to even mention it.

We conservative types are definitely in the minority, so a couple hundred fewer votes won't help him win, because he is going to need a miracle.

I don't like it either whoever McCain will pass the Democrat agenda, and the Dem's are going to be laughing anyway. Then the Republicans will get the blame and we will get an even worse Democrat in 4 years, and it will take longer to fix the socialists problems in the country.

If the Democrats get elected this year it will almost bankrupt the country. If the McCain win the country will be bankrupt for sure because we will have 8 to 12 years of this crap instead of 4.

The country is already bankrupt.

The Keating Five bailout plan will just prolong it.

Twelve hundred vanities down, a hundred thousand to go, it would appear.

Two hundred thousand more could not put enough lipstick on the pig known as John McCain.

I'm not going to stay at home in November, but I'm not voting for McCain, no matter how many times McCainiacs call me a traitor or an idiot.

Raising three kids has inoculated me from personal insults. LOL!

What is logical is that I am not able to vote for the author of the CIR bill.

Once we are flooded with millions of people from south of the border, SC justices won’t matter much, not to mention the fact that I do not believe in GOREbal warming. McLame does, and wants to tax us for junk science.

He can just replace my vote with one of his vaunted Independents. He won’t be getting my vote.

A couple hundred won’t hurt? My friend you have forgotten that Bush beat Gore by less than 600 votes.

It is possible the McCain can be persuaded to secure the border and THEN start negotiating on a guest worker program without amnesty. With the ‘Rats, you KNOW that amnesty and instant citizenship is going to be the primary focus and the border will remain open.

Do you WANT the Hildebeast or Obama as president? A protest vote or sitting at home on election day will benefit only the ‘Rats.

Sorry, McCain has Juan Hernandez on his staff. I don’t believe in fairy tales. I believe my own eyes and ears.

I just cannot vote for McCain. I won’t flame people who wish to, I just will not vote for him.

Ditto. I'll be sitting this election out.

>> A vote for McCain is a vote for a commie? <<

Is that what I said at all? No. “pinko FOLLOWERS” refers to the all the News lefties who can’t stop gushing over how wonderful he is. Most GOP supporters of McCain fall into the “lemming” category.

Some of us aren’t quitters, friend. I suggest that as much as I like “Atlas Shrugged”, I won’t allow this country to go that route, like you obviously hope it will.

I spent almost three years in Viet Nam and care deeply about the POW's who were abandoned by our country for the sake of renewing trade with the communist Vietnamese. And who was at the forefront of this travesty?

Yep, the very guy you're asking me to help elect president of the United States.

Not in this lifetime.
