Debate threat.
Last week, MSNBC suspended David Shuster for saying, “Doesn’t it seem as if Chelsea [Clinton] is sort of being pimped out in some weird sort of way?”
A search through MSNBC’s archives quickly uncovered a glaring double standard: Last September, MSNBC host Keith Olbermann accused President Bush of “pimping General David Petraeus.” It’s the same analogy — these days, the word “pimping” is slang, meaning to use in an unseemly way. Olbermann wasn’t reprimanded, but Shuster was suspended for two weeks and forced to apologize. Why?
The most logical answer is that Shuster’s words jeopardized a lucrative opportunity for his bosses. The day after Shuster made his comments, Hillary press strategist Howard Wolfson told reporters on a conference call, “I, at this point, can’t envision a scenario where we would continue to engage in debates on that network [MSNBC] given that comment.”
The threat was obvious: If MSNBC did not take action to appease the Clinton campaign, then Hillary would pull out of an MSNBC presidential debate scheduled for Feb. 26 in Ohio.
Tuesday, Clinton told a Cleveland TV reporter that she hadn’t yet accepted the invitation to the debate, even though — according to a letter ex-campaign manager Patti Solis Doyle sent to the Obama campaign — she agreed to it last week.

NBC has no balls-they should have called her bluff. If she doesn’t show up at the debate it hurts no one but Hillary Clinton.
This whole “offended” scenario is totally contrived by her Royal Thighness. She doesn’t want to get her Royal Hindass kicked in a debate, so she squirrels away and acts offended.

CBS and NBC on Monday night picked up on the charge in a new book that Hillary Clinton uttered an ethnic slur during an angry 1974 outburst, though only CBS gave viewers a clue about what it was, but they had to read it on-screen. NBC didn’t go further than referring to an “anti-Semitic slur,” and Andrea Mitchell revealed that last year the same source told her network about the same slur, but NBC decided to not report it.

I think President Bush and General Petraeus should demand that MSNBC immediately extend Olbermann’s contract indefinitely so that that slug has to toil in obscurity for the rest of his days.

Sooooo. Ms. Doyle was astute enough to keep a copy of such correspondence - just in case.

MSNBC needs to be taken off the air. It is utter garbage 24/7 with 3rd rack hacks reading the snooz.
When he was with FOX he was ok, but since he left he has become a snarky little “Richard.” As Nelson Muntz would say “Ha ha, you’ve been bitten by the beast!”

Actually, the dolt Monica wasn’t smart enough in her own right to keep the dress. Linda Tripp told her to keep it because she’d probably need it some day when the Clintons resorted to a “nuts and sluts” attack on her in the future. Which they did.

Why those two political thugs are not in prison serving time for theft in office, selling national secrets to enemies, accomplices to murder, perjury, theft of FBI files (is she ever going to give them back and where are they?), suborning perjury, etc. is beyond me.
How in the hell can a debate go by without Obama Kabama not asking her where the FBI files are, or her theft of over $!00,000 of government property, or any of the above felonious behaviors? Why is that hands off?

It took me a while to get it. The story wasn’t about Chelsea, it was about how the Clintoons were using her.
The issue isn’t that he said they were pimping her but that Hillary, a sitting U.S. Senator, a U.S. government official (and running to be POTUS) sent a threatening letter of a public news organization because she did not like what they reported.
Once more w/ feeling: Threatened a news organization because of one of their stories.
This should be sending chills down the spine of anyone who likes the 1st Ammendment.
Be very scared of a POTUS Hillery.
