It’s kind of funny. When this thing started and I first heard about Huckabee, I thought he sounded like a good “conservative-like” candidate that might be a “lesser of several evils”. This is normal for most elections.

However, the more I learned the less I liked his stance on things. And if you ignore his “baptist” roots and even his name and just see him as “candidate x” and then look at his record, there is really no way I could vote for him.

Meanwhile, he has also proven a fair lack of character in the way he is handling this race.

The way he’s handling this race has given me a lot more respect for him. I liked him, but I didn’t think he was tough enough. The fact that he has hung in there, despite not only the normal viciousness, but things that look suspiciously like vote fraud (WA), has made me think he might be a lot tougher than I thought, and might actually make a good president.

How is it a lack of character to let voters vote? They don't have to vote for him. He is just there giving voters an option. Until McCain has actually won over half the delegates, he is not yet the nominee the Republican people have chosen. Yes, I said the Republican PEOPLE -- those voters that get walked on and ignorned by the strategists who think they control the whole thing. They don't. This is REPRESENTATIVE government and the people are not finished voting yet.

Yes, only a tool of the global Marxists like McCain could make Huckabee look like he was somewhat conservative with a smidgen of class.
