The way he’s handling this race has given me a lot more respect for him. I liked him, but I didn’t think he was tough enough. The fact that he has hung in there, despite not only the normal viciousness, but things that look suspiciously like vote fraud (WA), has made me think he might be a lot tougher than I thought, and might actually make a good president.

Yeah, he seems tough. That is like a gun. In the hands of an honest cop it is a good thing. But there are situations, even when in the hands of a cop, it can be a bad thing.

Stalin was tough. So was Reagan.

If I agreed with Huckabee on even a small portion of what he has actually done, I would like his toughness. But I don’t.

Huckabee would not make a good VP, let alone a good President. McCain/Thompson ‘08.

I hate to say I might agree with you. Never thought I would say that. Huck getting out isn’t going to help McCain. I wouldn’t rally around McCain if someone paid me.

Our primary isn’t until May. I hope Huck stays in so I can register my anti McCain vote.

Otherwise I won’t be bothering to vote until 2012, that is if things get better, which I doubt.
