How is it a lack of character to let voters vote? They don't have to vote for him. He is just there giving voters an option. Until McCain has actually won over half the delegates, he is not yet the nominee the Republican people have chosen. Yes, I said the Republican PEOPLE -- those voters that get walked on and ignorned by the strategists who think they control the whole thing. They don't. This is REPRESENTATIVE government and the people are not finished voting yet.

Not sure about TX and OH, but thus far all eight names have been on the primary ballots. Romney & even Giuliani still get many votes.
