AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, from behind the golden EIB microphone, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back — just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).

If he was born on a U.S. military base, he’s a U.S. citizen.

Clemens’ throwing the bat at Mike Piazza in the 2000 world series tells another story.

With regards to a 3rd party, has there ever been a moment in history when Republicans have been this upset with their nominee? I doubt it. Maybe this is the perfect storm of anger to create a 3rd party.

Many Republicans were so upset with Taft, they voted for TR’s Bull Moose Party.

Someone please explain to me why congress is wasting our time and money having a congressional hearing for BASEBALL PLAYERS?! I wanna know the answer. Anyone have the REAL HONEST ANSWER WHY congress continues these dog and pony shows? If its a legal problem, leave it to the business and courts. Why does Congress get involved? What’s wrong with America? I’m tempted to mumble something about bread and circuses.

I agree he is a ‘empty suit’!
But he is a ‘novelty act’ and Americans as a rule are entranced by anything that is bright shiny & new.
So he scares me too!
Those GOP’ers who are crossing over to vote for Obama & thus sending Hillary packing. They are now overdoing it!
We want her running damaged, and letting her edge out a victory via the last couple of primary wins & through democrat ‘super-delegates’ is the correct strategy. However it requires a ‘fine touch’ so very difficult to do.

Of course all this wouldn’t have been necessary if the GOP voters hadn’t fractured around their particular ‘interest group’ candidate. The GOP voter is as much responsible for this mess as the GOP establishment!

I think the most interesting RUSh said today was that Hillary needs to win 60% of the delegates in the remaining “in play” primaries to win the nomination.

That seems to be an awfully steep hill to climb doesn’t it? If this is true, can we say the house is about to land on the Wicked Witch from the east?

I was getting uneasy with Rush's continuous bashing of both McCain and Huckabee till it dawned on me that Rush is subtly working mightily for a brokered convention which is our last best hope for a ticket like Romney/Thompson.

He may be scaring the delegates (called "uncommitted delegates" in the GOP) half to death if they're thinking of McCain or Huck and public opinion is rebelling against these two.

The same thing is already happening in the race between Hillary and the black Frank Sinatra. She's most certainly strong-arming the Dem super delegates to a fearful degree.

Mussolini's grand-daughter finds Obama to sound alot like grandpa during his speeches:
