Sorry, got my terrorists mixed up. It was Nasrallah that ticked off Khamenei.
Before the caffeine hits, it can be hard to tell the terrorists apart.

I just posted my sleepy correction.
It was Nassrallah who ticked off Khamenei and got replaced.

Ah yes, Nasrallah! I believe he was killed in the same blast this morning. What a wonderful set of events have started off this day!

GREAT NEWS! Here is a great PR opportunity for the good guys to point out that they have eliminated one of the masterminds and technicians of Islamic terrorism. He was a very very bad guy. I hope ex-CIA agent Robert Baer, of “See No Evil” fame, has a chance to talk about this.

this guy is a huge kill. arguably, hes more dangerous than bin laden, and his history goes back decadesI COMPLETELY agree. He was also Bin Laden's teacher, and the suspected mastermind of 9/11. See the links in post #33.
Hopefully Nasrallah is next on the list
According to post #82, the news out of Iran says Nasrallah was killed in the same blast. Who knew that it could get better than the death of Mugniyah?

Robert Dean Stethem SW-2 (Diver), United States Navy
This young Navy diver was returning from an assignment in the Middle East when the commercial jet on which he was a passenger was hijacked by terrorists. He was shot to death, after being tortured, by the terrorists on June 15, 1985. He is buried in Section 59 of Arlington National Cemtery, near a number of other Americans who were victims of worldwide terrorism.
Stethem was targeted because he was part of the U.S. military. He was posthumously awarded a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. In 1995, the newly commissioned destroyer was named for him.

No, it seems it was a deputy of Nasrallah that was killed.
Boy, if they’d gotten Nasrallah too that would have been an incredible twofer!

Oh what a drag, I totally misread that - then again... any terrorist scum killed is justice! :) Nasrallah and the rest will see the writing on the wall now — you can’t hide forever. You will be found.

The United States tried to detain Moughniyah several times, including a 1995 attempt to arrest him when the plane he was travelling was due to stop in Saudi Arabia. Diplomats said Saudi officials refused to allow the plane to land. You can just about always be assured that the swine Bill Clinton's grubby little paws would somehow be on this. My guess is that Billy Bob was too "occupied" to pressure the Saudis to capture this POS.

Hallelujah! Whether it was Israelis, the CIA, rival jihadists, or a jealous husband does not matter. Whoever it was deserves our thanks and congratulations.
RIP, Robert Stethem.
