Two cotton balls are going to keep their hip joints warm in cold water? Suuuuure.

I wonder what a poodle would look like without its $400 haircut. Might be a decent looking, functional dog, instead of being a white flag substitute.

Another Springer Mom. Emily is three. Please send squirrels!

However, she is the official hurricane predictor for South Texas. She loves wind and rain.

If you’ve never seen Triumph, the Insult Comic Puppet, you must watch this:

“USA Network...I just caught the tail end where Uno won..It’s on right now...”

Thank you. It is being replayed tomorrow morning at 10am (I assume eastern time) on same channel, USA Network. I am recording it to watch tomorrow afternoon. I believe it’s on from 10 am to 1 pm, or thereabouts, for anyone who missed it tonite. So set your record button, or wake up and watch if you don’t have to work.

I saw a picture of a standard poodle allowed to go corded, like a Puli. For me, a brace of standards in show clip is a joy to see.

That was hilarious! Particularly the part where the German Shorthair was first described by Triumph as "running around like an idiot"...but immediately thereafter was described as contributing the most interest to the show by pooping in the show ring.

Signed, the proud and completely unsurprised owner of a GSP.

Nice looking dog. The white feet are definitely a plus, his color and markings are outstanding.

Actually I think they look best with some sort of clipping, although not necessarily the super-poofs. I knew a guy had 2 standards and he kept their coat trimmed but not short. It was unflattering and just made them look a little messy. If you have a ‘fro, it needs to be shaped I think.

That is a real coup for the network. Only could nake it a little better if Uno were brining along some Clinton Library papers he had used when in training.

A dog might be a better presidential candidate than what we have to choose from.

Dogs are loyal. QED.

What TV channel was it on? I missed it. Was it on Animal Planet? Or what? Anyone know if it will be repeated?

Just for everyone's info, the Westminster is always held around Valentine's Day and is almost always on USA Network (coverage was shared with CNBC this year). When I start seeing Valentines I remember to look for it. That's a way to remember it next year.

I agree.

Beagles are beloved pets by a large number of Americans, Uno was just tooo cute and his form was terrific. I loved the hair that stuck out on his tail..the owner did not see fit to “trim” it, he just left it..He looked and acted like a real dog. Although I have pugs, the beagle was my favorite from the get go !

Don't harp on the poodles just because they have the same hairdresser as John Edwards.

Yeah, but they also have the same personality as John Edwards.

I thought it was a great looking lineup. I’ve shown there several times, in the past. For as political as Westminster is, they always end up with great looking dogs.
