Thank you for that bit of doggie history.
I think of Eva Gabor types of women when I see a poodle.
But all dogs rock IMO.
And I do believe people are a reflection of their canines..

And the Chow Chow gets nothing. Doesn’t even place in its class.
What a travesty...

Well I like all dogs, have had mini Poodles, Bichon Fiches(?), Black and yellow Labradors, and an English Setter. Loved them all, as well as my current Mini Schnauzer. When I first got married my late wife and I got an Old English Sheepdog puppy, and Snowball always though she was human. I always root for the Old English at dog shows.

There are labradoodles (NO KIDDING!), a cross between Labradors and Poodles. The purpose is a non-shedding and hypo-allergenic guide dog.
As it turns out, they’re good field and gun dogs.

Yes, Labradoodles (and Goldendoodles) are great and very versatile but, depending on “generation” (1/2, 1/4 etc.,) they may still have quite a shedding and allergenic properties for guide dogs.
Both mixes are very good in the field.

I like most Mastiffs, but English Mastiffs are awesome!
For those who don’t know (they are somewhat rare,) of all the Mastiffs, they most resemble Great Danes / Deutsche Dogge - German Mastiff.

Those poodles were the most obnoxious-looking things Ive ever seen (as are all similarly-cut Poodles). Im glad the Beagle won. Snoopy Jr. at least had some personality. ...and looked like a dog, not like a French Fruit. Don't harp on the poodles just because they have the same hairdresser as John Edwards.

What TV channel was it on? I missed it. Was it on Animal Planet? Or what? Anyone know if it will be repeated?
