***wart hog alert***
I have an idea. Hows about unleashing them 20mm canons on the bad guys?
What a waste of ammo
BUT.. a B-1B can clear a Taliban insurgent movement according to Forward Air Controllers.. by just flying low and launching flares... Because those insurgents know that that plane can come back and just drop a JSOW at high altitude with pinpoint accuracy if they continue to engage friendly forces.
Imagine what a A-10 can do just by Loitering in a area where Taliban are causing trouble, knowing that plane can simply come back a let loose a blast from its 30mm cannon or by dropping a variety of other weapons such as a AGM-65 Maverick.
Sometimes you do not have to fire on a enemy to get them to retreat... and thats a good thing at times.. but when it time to bring it on.. do it with overwhelming force!
Sorry about the Caliber.
I just hate to see us pussyfooting around with these clowns
They can't.
NATO ROE?
LOL! No...but that’s probably not far from the truth. Just a late post, good natured jab on the 20mm gaff.
Oh...

Rather high up.

I don’t care what anyone thinks. That is the prettiest bird in the skies.
Yeah, successful? How about ripping into the enemy?
Every ground-pounder will agree with you!
It's Ugly. They don't call it the Wart Hog for nothing. Course they, and I, are proud of that Ugly, and tough, Airplane. It smacks the shiite out of the bad guys and brings it's pilot home, what more can you ask?
