200 votes margin with just 87% votes counted... Huck is right on this.

Come on, if Fred or Mitt had this happen to them, all of the kool aid drinking Freepers would be staging protests. I agree, why declare a winner when it is close and there are still votes left to count? Why not just work a little later and count ‘em up?

“Al Gore, he’s back”

I’m glad Goron and Huck are doing this.

More elections should be challenged.

I’m not a Huckabee supporter. I really don’t like him at all... However, they have a very valid point, and it’s not crying over spilt milk to demand an actual complete COUNT of the vote totals — NOTE that is a COUNT not a RE-COUNT!!!

It’s absolutely ridiculous to go home when a job is 8/10 of the way done — how lazy of them. This was a very, very stupid thing for the WA GOP to do.

If there’s one thing everyone should’ve learned from the Bush/Gore debacle it should be this — DON’T CALL ANY RACE BEFORE THE VOTES ARE COMPLETELY COUNTED!!!! I can’t believe with what we’ve witnessed in the media regarding this exact type of situation that the WA GOP would screw up this royally.

"For those of you who miss, Al Gore, he’s back!!!!!!!!"

Yes, but he's changed his name to RNC.

Every vote must count (except for the votes that don't)

This is an RNC practice effort. The call for the emergency vote fraud team was made to test availability and reaction time.

Well, I am assuming you are not a WA resident who sat and watched the governor's race of 2004 being stolen in plain sight.

That said, where was Ed Rollins when that was going on. We could have used some help as the Dem/Union operatives in King County stole the election.

I don't think Huckabee can turn things around; but, I actually like the fact that national coverage may be turned to WA state and their very funky election processes.
