No, that not the case. The Conservatives have a long history with McCain. They have every reason to doubt McCain would do anything different as President McCain then he has done as Senator McCain. They have ever reason to look at McCain, especially given his last 8 years, as being the wrong direction for the party to be taking. To dismiss the valid serious concerns Conservatives have with the Republican Candidate, 1st in 30+ years who is running on a promise to raise taxes if elected, as mere "sour grapes" is both unfair and unwise.
I am also anticipating a battle over the super delegates if the race ends up that close.
Timmy is making the argument to Huckster about why he should get out. You are draining resouces, you are embarrassing McCain...
Like Timmy cares about McCain and Republicans.
Huck maintains he is staying in.
In case anyone checking this thread is wondering why McCain is not on, the Wallace/Bush interview is about —— ta-da —— John McCain!!!!!
A most insightful observation Snugs. I suspect you are right.
In a way they are similar to how we pick our local candidate for MP at the end of the day the local party chiefs and central office get who they want even if all local party members get a vote. It is engineered that the person that they want becomes the most viable candidate.
Are you saying that parties do not decide the rules for their own primaries?

Timmy now brings up Rush’s comments on the nominee being either McCain or Huck.
Huck just loves Rush although he’s disappointed in what he said. Says he allows people to put information in front of him that is not accurate. (Rush does not allow himself to be mislead, buddy.)

Timmy tries to imply that Huck is interfering with a congressional investigation because he has some kind of relationship with Copeland.
Boy is that ever a stretch.
They never really even had a chance because the DBM picked McPain for us. They INSISTED we should support him for POTUS. Also the crossover voters, both dim and independents in the primary voted for McPain.
Personally, I think it is time for a national primary day, and only individuals who know they cannot vote because of business reasons of deployed military or stationed out of their precinct should be allowed to vote absentee.
