I could enjoy the democrat fight a lot more if we had a decent candidate.
I guess we’ve all joined Phsstpok since at least half the comments seem to be about food, not politics.
Not that I have anything against food.

It is clearly designed to avoid a situation in which the Clinton's twist enough arms and have enough FBI files to give Hillary the nomination in spite of Obama winning the greater number of primary votes. If that happens, buying popcorn futures now might be a wise investment. Or, one might consider buying bullet-proof vests and ammo to prepare for the rioting in the streets if one lives in an urban area.

But I know that good, Southern potato salad like Mama and Grandmother made had mustard in addition to mayonnaise. Potato salad needs to be crunchy with pickles and onions and yellow with mustard. (Ill admit - Im a nut for good potato salad. Ill eat it for breakfast the next day and I skip dessert for an extra helping of potato salad.) Oh, maaa-aaan! You're killing me! The way my Mom (a Californian!) makes it, but not often enough. Mmmmmm. I'm going to look for New Potatoes at the store now!

Conservatives must go and vote. We will have to do all we can to make sure conservatives (if you can find one) get elected. Do what you wish with the President part. Yep. Staying home is stupid. Votes are voices. That's why they count.

That is obviously different to a popcorn maker that I have that just pops the corn.

Well there’s one thing that warms my heart....and that’s that so many people like potato salad. I thought it was just me.
But unlike so many of you, my mother never made potato salad. So I work in the wilderness out here in la-la land.
I liked the pot salad I made today, right in the middle of all this talk. The yukon gold potatoes worked well.
I didn’t have pickles but I like pickles in my pot salad. I love the idea of using baby gherkins and baby sweet pickles. So I’ll adjust for this. Also, I’ve always liked cucumbers in my pot salad, had some in mine today. You might want to consider.

But, alas, deep fissures in the FReeper community have been exposed, leading to unprecedented dissension, hostility and rancor-----------------over potato salad recipes! The horror........the horror.......I have it seared, seared into my memory!

You will note that not one person on this thread expressed a revulsion for potato salad.
The recipes may have varied greatly, you might argue, but every comment has been positive re the dish.

Right, and I don’t see where any of these chefs use celery seeds in their pot.salad! A rear horror! Must be too conservative, if there is such a thing.
To: shalom aleichem

Hey....I ALWAYS use celery seed in my potato salad.
You’re right though, no one mentioned it.
Maybe it is ASS-u-med?
