Karl Rove had the math.

For Huckabee to win he had to get 83% of the remaining delegates.

Very doubtful. Only possible if McCain goes in the hospital.

“This three state Hillary bloodbath was so much fun—how about we do it again on Tuesday?”

Virginia has an open primary on Tuesday and I’m torn as to what to do. Since I won’t be voting for either the D or R candidate in November, I guess I could have some fun.

I don’t think there is any way in the world hillary would take second billing. No way.

You are probably right. Her give up Queen Bee in the Senate for "a bucket of warm spit" is unlikely.

EXCEPT if she felt she could count on being elevated if Obama was eliminated, ... they'd have to be sure to pick a right winger to pin it on, though.

The only way that guy isn’t going to be our next POTUS, is if some of his dirt comes out of the closet and sticks like glue.

I think I read somewhere this evening that there’s something brewing now.

"She only cries out of her left eye"

I noticed that too when comparing the three crying jags. I think the contact lens on that eye is too tight.

Anybody have a delegate total?

Even though it’s so much fun discussing the other party, I have to get more oppo research done.

Sen. Barack Obama won caucuses in Nebraska and Washington state and moved ahead in the Louisiana primary Saturday night, slicing into Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's slender delegate lead in their historic race for the Democratic presidential nomination.

Uh....I know it was only by 2 to 5 delegates but Obama was in the lead after Super Tuesday. So he was adding to his razor-thin lead. Even if it were true she had still been ahead, I wouldn't call a win in the three contests slicing into her lead but jumping ahead in delegates and momentum.

Right now one of my complaints against McCain is that he doesn’t know economics the way he should..Oh he has a grasp of the macroeconomic picture, having been in congress for so long, but he doesn’t have a firm grasp of national budget Policy..

He complains about too much pork and too much fat in the budget..He voted against tax cuts because he listened to his Dem buddies whine that the Rich were getting away with something..That is not how you approach things..He has to realize that there is a time to cut taxes way back-that stimulates the economy- and a time when you can raise taxes, say to rebuild the military or in times when inflation could get out of control, taxes takes the froth out of the overheated economy..

Reagan had it right..cut taxes, let the Fed fine tune rates and add liquidity, keep jobs here instead of overseas, help businesses with tax credits to create jobs...make it easier on the wealthy and middle classes as they invest, create jobs, and pay the bilk of taxes...

So if MCCain does get it he needs to do a lot of studying on economics and banking asap...and om immigration law and policy...thats in addition to keeping up the WOT and backing our military...a VP with a lot of expertise on business and national budgeting would also help...

"Hillary, I’d be more scared of. She knows how to pull strings to make things happen. Obama’s a novice who just happens to be good at getting the public to vote for him. To get an idea of who is good at working behind the political scenes, look the superdelegates. They’re going for Clinton."

I agree. Hillary, besides having the potential for much, much more destruction, is someone who I personally (Along with her pig of a husband) LOATHE in the strongest of terms. I would accept anybody just to avoid having to endure this scum further.

Too bad we are putting up such a loser against him. Hell, the nominee who has been coronated by the MSM cannot even win against our Republican Elmer Gantry! He's losing in Louisiana and he's only pulling 25% in Washington. Give me a break!!!

"Instead, she criticized Arizona Sen. John McCain, the Republican nominee in all but name. "We have tried it President Bush's way," she said, "and now the Republicans have chosen more of the same." Not a smart thing to say, Hillary. Don't you want to be on his short list of VP nominees?

I'm not so sure about that, maybe she's courting FReeper votes, seems a lot of freepers would rather wake up to the Obamination ceremony than live with mccain

I hate to say it but you people have forgotten the absolute visceral and spiritual EVIL the Clintons serve.

You think she’s done now??? I would be as happy as anyone here if that were true, but I won’t fall for the rope-a-dope trick from them ever again.

It’s a critical part of their strategy to lie, obfuscate, and deceive at every point, and to use whatever means necessary to defeat their enemies. Obama is the first-stage enemy. They have studied the Art of War. They will figuratively assassinate Obama shortly, mark my words. We will be saying “Wha happen!!!??? I thought Hillary was already melted!!!”

I’ll take Obama anytime over the pure evil of the Clintons and their machine, as I believe while Obama is certainly extremely liberal, he is not evil. That’s my belief.

(Oh, and I still believe the Ross Perot of the election may be McCain as soon as the Clintons choose to unleash their evil on him—after they do Obama in. This will force McCrazy out of the nomination some way, which will throw some other wannabe into the forefront of the pub race. At that point, might’s well nominate Bob Dole for God’s sake!)

Obama will get crushed in a general election. Especially with his stance that we never should have waged a war on terrorism.

you have to be kidding? This issue is important to conservatives, but not most people. They will excuse him because the MSM will spin tales to make it seem like he made a "principled" choice.

No matter how bad Hillary is, BHO is orders of magnitude worse. He would plunge out country into disarray. He makes Hillary look conservative when it comes to respecting the military.

There is absolutely NO way McCain can defeat Barack. It would take an intervention by God for McCain to win.

Or mop with greatness, or whatever.

"She made no offer that evening or later on to clean up her mess."

And the Clintons have kept right on making messes that others have to clean up. Thanks for sharing it with us.
