Yes We Can Song - Barack Obama Song by Will.I.Am (A reality check on Obama's populist video-Satire)

Many of us have heard the "Yes We Can" song/video put out by hip-hop artist, "Will.I.Can."

The song is a brilliant mix of clips of Obama's N.H. Speech overlaid with singers and guitar that give Obama an almost "rock-star" appeal where no such thing is deserved.

This song has IMMENSE POPULIST APPEAL and will no doubt be the theme song for Obama at the Democratic Convention.

HOWEVER, beneath all of OBAMA's "feel-good platitudes" and empty promises, there is a heavy Marxist/socialist agenda that the ignorant masses do not understand.

They don't understand that everything Obama stands for will cost lots of money except for his goals of having a weak, cowardly military.

So I edited his platitudinous rhetoric in the song to render it more "honest."

Here's the link to the video:

__________________________________________________________________________

"There was never was a creed written into the founding documents that declared the destruction of a nation. Yes we can (raise taxes).

It was whispered by slaves and Democrats as they blazed a trail toward socialism. Yes we can (steal from the producers).

It was sung by liberals as they struck out from distant shores and neo-racists who pushed affirmative action against an unforgiving society. Yes we can (be liberal racists).

It was the call of Democrats who fled; those who forgot 9/11; a Senator who wants to withdraw; and Osama who took down our twin towers and pointed the way to the clash of civilizations.

Yes we can to a weaker military. (yes we can) Yes we can to Hillary’s shared prosperity. Yes we can to shared prosperity. Yes we can to socialism. Yes we can kill this nation. Yes we can retreat from this world. Yes we can be weak. Si Se Puede ser debile.

We know the battle ahead will be long, but always remember that no matter what obstacles stand in our way, nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of unproductive socialists calling for change. We want change! We want socialism

We have been told we cannot do this by a chorus of adults who will only grow louder and more dissonant. We've been asked to pause for a reality check. We've been warned against offering the people of this nation false hope.

But in the unlikely story that is America, there has never been any truth behind our hype. We want change! I want Change.

The hopes of the little girl who goes to a crumbling school in Dillon are the same as the dreams of the boy who learns on the streets of LA; we will remember that there is something happening in America; that we are not as honest as our politics suggest; that we are selfish socialists; we are one spoiled nation; and together, we will begin the next doomed chapter in America's story with three words that will ring from coast to coast; from sea to shining sea - Yes. We. Can (destroy free markets and free people).

Obama would be a great candidate if his “Yes we can” didn’t center around bigger government and government solutions.

Very nicely done, though I expected to hear your lyrics (freedom manifesto) dubbed into the audio mix. I wish someone with the technical ability would do so.

I’m sure someone will dub in some more “honest” lyrics by the time we’re done with this campaign season.

Obama is indeed charismatic and has quite a following, but it’s such a whitewash job that he’s able to do on the masses who don’t understand Marxism.

As Winston Churchill said, “The best argument against democracy is a five-minute conversation with the average voter.”

Hillary’s song should be “TOMORROW BELONGS TO ME” from Cabaret.

Very good.

You know, the speech is effective as you say in its appeal to the current political culture, especially among young people, Hollywood and Oprah types who are easily influenced by slogans and emotional appeal.

I watched the video a couple of times and admire the production for it’s effectiveness, without suspending my own understanding of the subtext you have added so eloquently. But one thing absolutely PISSED ME OFF. There’s one guy about 2/3’s of the way in, who raises his fist and says “si se puede” which is, as you know the slogan of the illegal immigrant invaders. If that’s what Obama’s Yes We Can slogan means, it’s possible worse than even you think.

“Yes We Can” would make a great laxative commercial...
