Devil May CAIR (See List of CAIR's Cheerleaders in Congress)

~EXCERPT~

Homeland Security: In a new court filing, federal prosecutors describe the Council on American-Islamic Relations as a supporter of terrorists. So why are Democrats still supporting the organization?

CAIR's boosters on the Hill, where it's headquartered just three blocks from the Capitol, have known for some time that several people in positions of power within the group have been directly connected to terrorism and have either been prosecuted or thrown out of the country. Yet lawmakers have gone right on singing CAIR's praises and doing its bidding. That agenda includes suing John Doe witnesses, censoring critics of Islamism and denying the FBI antiterror tools.

These cheerleaders, who include a handful of Republicans (see box), also know by now that CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror-fundraising case last year. And that FBI wiretaps revealed that CAIR's founder, Omar Ahmad, and executive director, Nihad Awad, last decade attended a secret meeting in Philadelphia with Hamas leaders and other terrorist sympathizers.

In fact, Ahmad himself was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the terror case, which counts a CAIR founding director among its criminal defendants.

I saw this last night on IBD. I see this as a “follow the money” thing that highlights the fundamental problem for the USA today. Our money is going to the islamofascists for oil. As long as they are awash with dollars, the terrorists can buy anything they want in our country; land, businesses, favorable press, all of it.

So long as our political system runs on the cash of “campaign contributions” (bribes, really), the terrorists can buy politicians, too.

Unless and until we stop the flow of money to the terrorists, we will be bought by them. It’s really that simple.

We can never stop the flow of money, but we could vote for honest politicians that love their country more than their mansions, yachts, sports cars and trophy wives or husbands.

You know what bothers me about some of our politicians? They are bought so cheap.

See this link for the editorial itself. Note that the list comes from CAIR itself; I wouldn't take it for granted that all of them deserve to be on it.

John Warner, R, VA and Tom Davis, R, VA are retiring from Federal service. Lately Warner has been voting with the Democrats. He favors the Law of the Sea Treaty, and other socialist programs. Tom Davis supports Statehood for the District of Columbia. It would have been rational for Tom to recommend that the District be reduced to a one square mile area instead of its original 100 square miles minus the Virginia portion. Then Maryland could add voting Congressmen to the House and thus secure voting rights as its neighboring state Virginia, did some years ago.

I have LONG despised and resxented John Warner and will be glad to see him leave. I see that Tom Davis was on that list as well...I'm also glad to see him dropping out of the race for Warner's seat, he would have been just as bad.

What the hell is wrong with these people? Can they possible be as blind and stupid as their siupport for a terrorist front organization like CAIR would seem to indicate? Is anyone really that stupid?

John Warner is the poster child for the Rockefeller wing of the Republican party. I thought with the ascension of Reagan to national prominence they had been marginalized forever, boy was I ever wrong.
