For me its not being sold on Huckabee, but sending a message about McCain. Voting for the candidate you believe best fits your position on issues may make you feel good, but won’t mean a thing from now on. If you are satisfied with McCain, then fine, vote your conscience. If you want to send a message, vote for whoever has a chance to beat him in your state, even someone you would not vote for otherwise.
Does that mean we end up with Huckabee??
With 13 precincts at my caucus in CLark COunty, he placed second to huckleberry, but ahead of McPain. Romney and Hunter split 13 votes in the straw poll.
If memory recalls, Huckabee received 32, Paul 28, McCain 23, Romney 10, Hunter 3.
I had to contend with Paulistinians, but had none present in my precinct.
It’s so hard not to get nasty with those people ;-)
McCain in trouble against Obama that is ... freudian slip I guess ... lol
he’s a social conservative. And a foreign policy conservative. And a fiscal moderate (from his record).
This is a bunch of CRAP!
Welcome to the wonderful world of electoral politics, Washington state style. Our Proud Motto: "Thank you, sir, may I have another...?" ;)
Huckabee didn't even go to Washington-or Louisiana- in Kansas he went and cleaned McCain's clock. The pro-Huckabee-anti McCain combination is a lethal dose of popular resentment toward the status quo and the MSM's hand picked nominee. When Huckabee wins Virginia McCain self-implodes and reality sets in for the party big-wigs.
Momentum is growing. Huckabee had his biggest day of contributions yesterday. The people don't want McCain.
Bend over and grab your ankles.........
Good tagline:
“John McCain is to conservatism what Cindy Sheehan is to the Miss Universe Pageant.”
LOL
With your tagline, I gotta ask - Scotch or beer? I’m on my 1st Scotch, but the night’s young ;-)
Say what you will about the Ron Paul people...they have had remarkable organization despite being on the fringe. And probably have had the most effective campaign as far as number of dollars per vote of anyone in either party.
Oh... have they finally decided to officially start waiting for us to bend over first, then? GOD BLESS YOU, CHRISTINE GREGOIRE!!! ;)

I caucused for Mitt!
Good. Anyone but McCain (ABMC)!
THIS IS THE BEST!!!! SOMEONE get this into some YARD SIGNS in the states yet to vote!!!
Those numbers are the same ones they have been posting for the past two hours.
Yea, absolutely!
no ... but this maybe helps holding McCain ego in check (and his feet to the fire).
I would like to see Huckabee do well on Tuesday ... Virginia and Maryland ... and I think somewhere else. That would be impressive for Huckabee if he could do well in those states.
Huckabee probably won’t do well in states like Ohio and PA which will swing alot of delegates McCain’s way.
Virginia and Maryland is probably Huckabee last chance at a hurrah ... and for conservative to register a protest vote that may register with McCain.
McCain biggest problem in November will be himself.
Did you listen to Norbit’s speech? Dear god that man just doesn’t stop talking.
