The Straight Talk Express needs the gas. It’s a long way to Mexico and back.

have you seen the prices of diesel lately???
someone is going to make a hefty profit from his neighbors by selling them gas for their trucks.
really though, theft of construction, trucking equipment is very common due to how hard it is to track these vehicles. i hope it's just simple theft though.

Diesel fuel isn’t as combustible as gasoline.

Probably the mob! And I hate just getting orted! Getting reorted must be awful!:)

Don’t know whether this relates, but I95 is shut down in both directions right now as the result of a tanker truck fire (at Eisenhower Ave, for those who know the area). Maybe they didn’t know how to drive the trucks very well?

It doesn’t take thousands of gallons to make explosives.
Chances are, this is $20,000 worth of fuel going in equipment and/or trucks.
But ya never know these days.

At something over $3 a gal. they have some $22,000 worth of fuel or enough to fuel some 50 trucks with 150 gal each. Sounds like small timers looking for a few quick bucks.

theft of construction, trucking equipment is very common due to how hard it is to track these vehicles.Actually with the technology available, it's not that hard to outfit trucks and equipment with GPS transponders.
Rodgers has some fairly new equipment.
Whether these fuel bowsers were equipped with them is unknown.

yup, but the scary truth is that you if park this thing outside of a mall or school or church and make it go boom, it’s going to be a big boom.

Diesel fuel isnt as combustible as gasoline.
But diesel is what is best mixed with ammonium nitrate when making explosives. It's the mixture that brought down the Federal Building in Oklahoma City.
