Bush Signals Support for McCain
By Peter Baker
President Bush plans to give an implicit endorsement of onetime rival John McCain's conservative bona fides tomorrow as the Arizona senator seeks to consolidate the party behind his candidacy.
In a speech to the Conservative Political Action Conference in the morning, Bush plans to say that the nominee of the party will be a strong conservative, according to excerpts released by the White House tonight.

He’s a fine one to be defining who a “True Conservative” is.

The terrible thing is, I'm not sure McCain even understands how egregiously he violated his oath of office with that bill. Either that, or he simply doesn't care. Maybe both. I think it's both. His arrogance trumps everything else.
I don't know what I'll do in November. Due to Iraq, the ongoing war against radical Jihadism, and the issue of judges, it would be painful for me to not vote for the Republican nominee.
Same here. If I have to vote for McCain (and the election is still 9 months away--anything can happen) then I will do it, but only because our troops deserve better than Hillary or Obama as their Commander-In-Chief.

Yep, I am up in Morgantown. I used to know some people in Huntington. I don’t get down there much anymore.

Bush doesn’t even know what a conservative is himself. Bush is an idiot. If he truly believes he can change my mind about McCain simply by saying McIdiot is a conservative, Bush is sadly mistaken. He fooled me twice by telling us he was a conservative and he turns out to simply be a RINO liberal. No Jorge, no more fooling me. McIdiot is a liberal, period. No ifs, ands and buts about it.
