Can McCain Be Trusted With Nukes?
pinochet

Posted on 02/07/2008 7:17:56 PM PST by pinochet

McPain's biggest problem may not be that he is a leftist RINO who hates conservatives, as bad as that fact is on its own. Let's Face it.....he is nuts! He makes Ron Paul and his kooks look sane.

Sen. Thad Cochran of Mississippi was quoted saying a few days ago that:

"The thought of him being president sends a cold chill down my spine...He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and it worries me" http://www.ajc.com/opinion/content/opinion/bookman/stories/2008/02/06/bookmaned_0207.html

Can you all remember his rage in 2000, when he trashed evangelical Christians, and compared Rev. Robertson and the late Rev. Falwell to Farrakhan and Sharpton? He has repeatedly lost his temper in his low-stress job as a US Senator. How is he going to handle the high stress of the Oval Office? Is he mentally and psychologically up to it? If conservatives make him mad when he is President, such as opposing a second attempt at amnesty, what do you think he will do to them? Unleash the IRS? Worse?

McCain's believes that America owes him the Presidency, because he suffered as a POW in Vietnam. He does not believe that non-Veterans have the right to question any of the pig-headed decisions he makes. His hateful attacks on Romney during the last primary debate, denigrating Romney's achievements as a businessman, and saying that he did not serve his country for profit, was deeply troubling. And his twisting of Romney's comments about Bob Dole, to hint at Romney's lack of military service, was just nasty.

When he was under investigation over his involvement in the Keating Five scandal in the 1980s, he repeatedly played the Vietnam card, which intimidated those investigating him. The implication was that veterans who have been in combat deserve special treatment, and cannot be subjected to the same laws as the rest of us. McInsane has played the Vietnam card far more than John Kerry.

What do you think would happen, if congress were to try to impeach him for misconduct as President? He would constantly remind the congressmen that they were not tortured in Nam.

If Russia was to p!ss him off, would he bomb them? Do you trust McNuts with nukes?

It does not matter.

The real question is: Can you trust Hillary with nukes?

McQueeg will not be getting anywhere near the “football”.

I can’t help suspecting that a few of the contributers also have allegiance to the Clinton underground.

The vitriolic tone on this site has begun to rival the Daily Kos or Democratic Underground, sans the Move on. numerous F-bombs.

I guess the whiners just don’t get it. We didn’t have a good or serious conservative candidate in this race. Face the facts whiners, shut up and go find something productive to do. Your emotional outburst is classless, disgraceful and totally unproductive.

But what if we don't effin WANNA do somethin' effin productive? Huh? What then? Will McCain effin nuke us?

It would be something to worry about only if an American President had ever unleashed military force against, say, a small religious group or church, burning more than a hundred people to death in their own home.

Was McCain trustworthy while being held as a POW in VietNam.

think about it, please. He stayed a prisoner for his men even though he could have gotten out since his father was a bigwig in the Navy.

He has guts and determination and good sense.

"Can he be trusted with nukes? What a silly question...I once served on a polaris submarine as a radioman (back in the 60s when we still copied the fleet broadcast in morse code). The so-called "nuclear button" is nothing like you can suppose (in either the U.S. Navy or the U.S. Air Force). A president must go through a series of intricate security procedures to order a launch and it could NEVER happen on a "whim"!"

You forgot about Plan "R".

The dems will protray McInsane like Ripper

I fear for the nation if he’s in power. I can’t voye for someone who might explode someday and start a World War.
I will never vote for McCain—as things progress the people will see this as well. I predict he will carry only Arizona in the general election.
They will be playing “Happy Days are here again” when Hillary is sworn in. Her first day on the job will be the last happy day. It will be fun to see how she punishes those who turned on her. The Kennedys are going to be toast. Then we must set up a run to take the house back from the Democrats and Rinos, then the Senate, then after four years of problems we can get a real conservative in to fix things. I can hope—hope springs eternal.

The MSM tried to paint both Nixon and Reagan as reckless, unstable, aggressive personalities.

In fact, it has NOT been under the presidents whom the MSM has portrayed as “reckless” when we suffer defeats abroad, rather it has been under presidents that appear weak like Johnson, Ford, Carter and Clinton.

The Vietnames communists knew they could play Johnson for a sucker. But when Nixon mined Haiphong and bombed Hanoi, that got their attention right quick.

Under Ford and Carter, communists and islamofascists made huge gains worldwide, especially in Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Central America and Africa. But when “reckless” Reagan came in, the tide changed.

We all know about the advance of islamofascism while Clinton diddled. The “cowboy” Bush has been another story, certainly since 9/11.

When we have a president whom the liberals whine about being “reckless” it is our enemies who will do the worrying.
