Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

Are there any Freepers who support John McCain?

If you support Mr. McCain, can you make the case for your man?

Can you make the case without bringing up the War?

Can you make the case without bringing up Judges?

Can you make the case without using any ACU ratings? (Those don't impress anybody.)

Can you make the case without insults or telling people to "calm down"?

Can you make the case without the type of lying and dishonesty we've come to expect from John McCain and his special friend Mike Huckabee?

Can you make the case without trashing Barack Obama?

Can you make the case without using Hillary Rodham Clinton as some kind of boogyman or boogyperson?

Can you?

The ball is in your court.

Because if people aren’t inspired to come out and vote for president, many, therefore, won’t bother to come out and vote at all. That is a fact.

I’m not sure you ‘think’ as much as you ‘feel’ about things.

And your actions tell us that you’ll continue being faithful to the GOP no matter how much garbage you have to swallow.

Or prove me wrong.

Flowers, Honey?? Thank you! ..... You’re apologizing for throwing me down the stairs again last night? I forgive you Darling, Oh, I love you too! .... What a beautiful box of candy! Is that for me? ! How sweet! You really are sorry, aren’t you!! .... My eye?? My eye will be fine, Sweetheart! ..... Upstairs? ,, why, we haven’t done,, you must need me badly Baby, yes, of course Sweetheart! I’m right here! How could I have ever doubted you! I need you too,,, I need you to,,,

If that was supposed to be a response to Post 422, then you have proved the point of my Post 501.

Our nation is in danger of putting somebody like Obama in the White House who is so naive about the Realpolitiks of the World that he believes everything will be fine if we bug out of Iraq and the Persian Gulf leaving Islamist religious fanatics in Iran seeking nuclear weapons and the missiles to deliver them to U.S. soil in military control of 70% of the World's known oil reserves and you are pouting because McCain hurt your sensitive feelings.

CRASH!!!

"OMG!! A home invasion!! Honey, bring down my gun!!"

"I'm not talking to you!"

"Three guys have broken down the front door! Get me my gun NOW!!!"

"I told you I wasn't talking to you, you brute!"

"I can't hold 'em hold the off much longer! BRING DOWN THE GUN!!"

"Why should I help you with anything when you never validate my feelings?"

"AHH, GEEEZ!!! THEY ARE RAPING OUR DAUGHTER!!! BRING DOWN THE F*****G GUN!!!"

"I am through being used to simply meet your needs. You have really hurt my feelings and I will teach you a lesson!

It’s a deep well.

We can’t let Obama/Hillary in.

We can’t let Algore in.

We can’t let Clinton stay in.

We can’t let Clinton get in.

And there’s no end in sight. GOP will continue to prey on the voters’ fears as long as the can get by with it.

Interesting thread.

I will not vote for McCain for points that have been well articulated on FR and elsewhere. Period.

I will actively work to get Republican congress-critters who espouse conservative principles elected.

"I’m glad that you believe McCains policy of illegal aliens and islamic terrorists attacking Americans is so amenable to you.

Quit making things up. I never EVER said ANYTHING favorable about McCains disgraceful policy on illegal immigration. NEVER. What I was saying that it seems that either Hillary, Obama, or McCain will be the next Commander and Chief of our military, and we are at War. I believe McCain will be better to our troops than Hillary or Obama.

I NEVER said anything about McCains policy on illegal aliens is amenable to me. Supporting someone that supports Iraq and Afghanistan combat operations has NOTHING to do with illegal immigration policy. That is simply a lie you made up spun around like you was James McCarville and posted it. If you want to publicly state that I agree with McCains illegal alien policy, come up with evidence of your assertion.

I have seen how Hillary! governs. No thanks. Going back to her early history during Watergate, it was her plan to deny President Nixon any representation (a lawyer) at his impeachment hearing. That is totally against the constitution. I saw her health coverage plan, it was communism pure and simple. How about her “Let’s give $2000 to each new baby” plan?

As for Obama, he is an unknown. Very charismatic, but unknown. He is also the most liberal senator in the senate, which takes some doing.

Right now, I don’t know who I am voting for.

I don’t wish ill on the man (McCain). If he should get elected I don’t see him serving out his term due to his general physical condition & age. His VP might be a reason to vote for him (depending). Course that’s like trying to pull to an inside straight.

OK, I agree with that post as it pertains to McCains character and disgraceful policies. I am trying to look after the troops in combat that are looking after me. I think McCain would make a better Commander in Chief than Hillary or Obama for our military.

It seems the next CIC will be Obama, Hillary or McCain. Thats why I posted my opinion supporting McCain over the other two as Commander in Chief. If you have a better solution that would put a better President/Commander in Chief in office (better than the 3 listed), then I'm all for it. McCain is FAR from who I want, be better than Obama / Hillary in a time of war. If you know a better way, then FRiend, I'm with you.

It’s going to be difficult to get anyone excited enough to work if all this gloom and doom on the Right keeps up.

The thing that MOST gets people undecided, especially new voters and young voters, is new outside of Washington DC blood.

McCain has been around so long, he no longer excites anyone, not even tried and true Republicans like yourself and me.

Say what you want about Romney, or even Huckabee, but THEIR supporters are enthusiastic and ready to crawl over broken glass to support their man.

John McCain, for all his consistency, is worst than a sleeping pill.

Sure, he will get the good patriotic military vote -- but he will bore the hell out of tens of millions of voters the GOP desparately needs to counter the media-lib driven Democratic machine.

I am torn, quite frankly.

I can't in good conscious volunteer for McCain this fall.

I will vote certainly, but probably will only volunteer for my local candidates.

I should say that my tag line is a quote from an article by Thomas Sowell that was post on FreeRepublic, last week.

Insightful, as usual.

I, for one, plan to hold my nose and vote for Mc...

That would make a good protest image come November. Pubbies walking into the polling stations en masse with noseplugs or clothespins on their noses, or clothespins clipped to their lapels. We could have people outside the polling stations distributing clothespins. I think we should go with it. With TV cameras there, we could send a message to McCain.

Juan McClothespin - hold your nose and vote!

What a legacy!

I will vote for McCain because I do not want the Dems in the White House. If McCain surprises us and chooses a strong, conservative VP candidate--I will donate and work for the GOP like I did for W. I see a good VP as our only hope.

Anyway, I urge everyone to read Michelle Malkin's column today:

GROW UP, RIGHTIES: GET FIRED UP DESPITE MCCAIN

McCain is a 'Rat in Republican clothing.

I just thought I'd look up John McCain to see if he was born in the year of the RAT. And wouldn't you know it, he WAS!!! August 26, 1936. Year of the Rat!

24 January 1936 - 10 February 1937: Fire Rat

Yikes!

Rat is associated with aggression, wealth, charm, and order, yet also associated with death, war, the occult, pestilence, and atrocities.

That covers a lot of ground.

"If we lose the War On Terror Sharia Law will provide the judges, my friend. John McCain would be great in fighting the WOT if only he was willing to secure the borders as Senator. So far he is not. Anybody who wants to bring terrorists from Gitmo to our courts here in US cannot be serious about treating this as a real war."

That ship has sailed. We had our chance in Romney. But as of today the next president, whoever it is, will close Gitmo. I don't like that either, but that is reality.

It's also reality though that the nominee on the other side will bring our troops home, to the detriment of US security, and all the troops who have given their lives and limbs will have done so in vain. It's also true that the D nominee has pledged to do absolutely zippo about the border issue. At least McCain is saying he will work to prevent new illegals.

I think Romney had it right yesterday, there is too much at stake to allow either Clinton or Obama to have the keys to the WH. I wish Romney would have given more speeches like he did yesterday before yesterday. Maybe he'd be the nominee. But he's not, and when you are given lemons, you just have to make lemonade. I have more in common with McCain than either of the D candidates. That settles it for me. It's not satisfying but it is realistic.
