I’ve got the ticket w/ McCain: add Hillary as the Vice-Prez. McCain is a nightmare, please don’t go there.

I still wonder what the absentee vote factor was in California.

Huge. The initial vote count had McCain up by like 20% - those initial batches of votes are the early absentees, which are always counted first (the late absentees turned in on election day are counted last).

The McCain List.

This will bag McCain a lot of delegates.

Thanks for the stats.

Since it appears there was collusion between liberal McCain and perceived conservative, Huckabee to deny Romney the conservative vote, Republican conservative rank and file need to rise up, just like we did over Harriet Miers and amnesty and demand a runoff between McCain and Romney.

It’s either a runoff, or let McCain work out some back room deal with Huckabee and decide the fate of our party.

In 2000 California’s secretary of state *ADMITTED* that a *MILLION* votes in the presidential race were *NEVER* counted! For all we know Bush could have won the *POPULAR* vote if *ALL* the votes were counted.

I wouldn’t be *SURPRISED* if they stopped counting as soon as McAnus took the lead *THIS* time around!

Your frustration with the McCain/Huckabee backroom deal is understandable. But there cannot be a forced runoff between McCain and Romney, no matter how many people demanded it. Elections are held under the various state election laws, and they are what they are. No runoffs are possible in this case.

Well, I know that in Colorado, the delegates haven’t actually been chosen, yet. That happens in August, I think. This is where we might be able to demand a runoff.

So what was with the polls saying Romney was up by 7-13% over McCain ?

Fakes to setup conservatives and talk radio so they could embarrass everyone. JMO.

Romney is toast......I think he drops out within two weeks.

I hope not. Reason - Haley Barbour on TV last night subtley threatening Repubs not to take this to the convention. I used to like him, but who is he to tell people what to do? I'm tired of all these people shaking their fingers and crying "shame, shame", get in line and shut up.

Maybe Haley is going to be another VP for John. We now have Huck, Crist, Rudy, Kay Bailey Hutchison, Fred Thompson.......

Romney didn’t just lose California. He was spanked hard. Despite being outspent by Romney, McCain’s GOTV really did a great job of targeting the right voters in each district.
