I still wonder what the absentee vote factor was in California.

Huge. The initial vote count had McCain up by like 20% - those initial batches of votes are the early absentees, which are always counted first (the late absentees turned in on election day are counted last).

In 2000 California’s secretary of state *ADMITTED* that a *MILLION* votes in the presidential race were *NEVER* counted! For all we know Bush could have won the *POPULAR* vote if *ALL* the votes were counted.

I wouldn’t be *SURPRISED* if they stopped counting as soon as McAnus took the lead *THIS* time around!
