A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 200,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay.

Ever stop to think about all the animals that frequent the Finest? There are bears and birds, dogs and kitties, foxes, owls, wolves...! And Elephants everywhere! (No donkeys need apply though!) :)

                    

Now the Finest isn't like just any zoo - our animals are very FRiendly - no fences or cages for them - in fact, this one may greet you at the door and insist upon a hug before you enter. (females only, of course.)

You may even find a bear in the kitchen cooking up some of her special brownies.

The Finest isn't all about animals and birds, of course - we have among us, to name just a few:

A few little critters didn't get used, so if you have these letters in your name, please feel free to take them. I used "Comic Sans Ms" font in a size "6" to spell the rest of the names. Wish I knew someone whose name started with "Z" - love that zebra!

Lovely cardinal..I just turned on my desktop and downloaded your link to the program that self frames...After solving the mystery of how to get pictures to load into this program..... I had to figure out where to find framing and then what they named it..After many hunts I finally did it..Now to see if I can find it with browse and download it into tinpic..They did not list Vista as compatable so I thought I’d better use my desktop..and my back already hurts..;o(

I am going to click on every thing they list to do to a picture when I have more time and a better back.....I have a new toy.. I can always say NO to saving the results..LOL

It is cute, Meg! Thanks, I just now clicked on it. I just don't usually click on the larger files if it's a link - videos (You Tubes) or MP3s unless someone tells me they are really worth the time it takes.

I hate this, but we cannot get cable - our house is too far from the nearest cable 'box', and none of the 'dishes' available here have internet access - just TV. I keep checking. I hope someday there will be service.
