See the video:
Hillary Clinton responds to Ann Coulter's announcement that she would support Hillary if John McCain is the Republican nominee.
“I know of boat loads of FReepers that will join in on indirectly helping hillary rather than voting for mccain as well. They will help a socialist they disagree with 100% rather than vote for someone they disagree with to a lesser degree. Brilliant.”
Needed to be said again
Why would there be gridlock? The Dems control Congress. It would be a liberal’s dream, nothing to stand in the way of the most left-wing legislation you can imagine. Slave reparations, publicly-financed abortions, national health care, etc. Everything would be on the table.
Which is what I’m sure you would prefer to McCain, right?
One thing about Mitt, he has been running spots in California that herald the fact that Hillary has never run a business, a department, a community state or federal office as an executive.
He winds up by stating it would be unacceptable to send her to the White House as an intern, to learn on the job.
She stole my line - I said yesterday that was “strange bedfellows!”
LOL, Bob Beckel has been saying, “No, thanks, Ann”.
We shouldnt be supporting the Democrats. EVER
If it ends up being mccain/huck.. and we vote for them it would be supporting a liberal.
some folks are so afraid of Hillary they will sink to any depth, follow any lying, dishonorable POS who they think mistakenly think may stop her.
Well, we don;t know that the Dems will keep Congress. And if they do, they still need 60. We’ve seen before the damage the minority party can do.
As far as McCain. Do way I’m voting for him. Come Nov. I’ll be voting third party.
intern, job, snicker
What she said was something about politics making (ahem) “strange bedfellows”. I hope she doesn’t think Ann is one of them!
Obama/Clinton vs. McCain, Romney,Huckabee or any Republican.
See # 15 above, “Go away little girl...”
Pretty good line huh.
What it does represent is Romney laying the groundwork for whoever finally wins the nomination.
I don’t see others playing it this way.
I’ve yet to figure out how voting for a non conservative is supposed to ADVANCE the conservative cause??? Been there, done that.
You anticipate a lot of gridlock with Hillary in office when Democrats control Congress and the Senate? Maybe you had better rethink that. If a Democrat is elected president and Democrats keep the majority in Congress and the Senate, Democrats will be able to pass just about any legislation they want to pass, without threat of veto, install plenty of pro abortion judges, and so on.
And that’s different that McCain, how?
I’ll take my chances with the Dems ruining this Country for 4 years rather than a “so called” Republican.
I don;t depend on the govt. anyway. So, I’ll just weather the storm and hope people wise up by 2012.
I will not vote for McCain. I will not vote for any Lib. I will vote third party, conservative.
If Ann Coulter says she's going to campaign for Hilary .... I have no doubt that she's going to do that. I have no doubt that Ann actually WILL show up at every Clinton campaign stop, every speech, every venue. Ann will be there, with a podium or a megaphone, telling people exactly what Clinton's record really is, etc. In other words, a Clinton gadfly who will not go away.
Hilary will regret ever saying that she welcomes Ann's vote.
