Here we go...
The Democrat nominee needs 2,025 to win.
The Republican nominee needs 1,191 to win.
I may be wrong but I believe that Hillary will be easier to beat in the general than Obama. She has VERY high negatives and I think a lot of people will want to break the Bush, Clinton, Bush, Clinton string. That’s JMHO.
If our country is only fiscally conservative, and walks away from morality and integrity, The God of the Bible, the One I believe in, the One I have put my trust and confidence in, is going to ultimately rain judgement on our land and it will go down much the same as Sodom and Gomorrah. We may be at that stage right now. If we go down, it won't be because those choosing to do what they feel God wants them to do, failed, it will be because of those who compromise what our nation was founded on!!! Please now, take this in the spirit I have responded. In Love.
As I've said in past posts, a vote for Huckypuck is a vote for McNuts. There's your proof!
Please see post 411, Thanks
LOL- keep reading- Ohio Valley:)
Two votes for Romney here in NY. Listening to some local callers to John Gambling radio show this moring, I suspect there will be many more voting his way.
McDole doesn’t stand a chance against either Democrat, too old, Clinton will celebrate a McDole nomination.
West Virginia makes it clear.
Brokered Convention equals McCain for President.
it is now romney or oblivion for the GOP.
The left wing have bought the GOP.
Great party! Is the bar open yet?
Yes, but not what you would call traditional replacement theology (covenant relationship with Christians superceding covenant relationship with Jews).
Essentially, their restorationist theology is replacement theology. LDS teach that the LDS church is the only true church on earth in fact Orson Pratt, brother of Romney ancestor Parley P. Pratt, taught that the Roman Catholic church is the whore of Babylon and the Protestant church is one of her harlot daughters.
Here is restorationist theology according to LDS Scripture: (Pearl of Great Price, Joseph Smith - History, verses 18-19): I asked the personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right and which I should join. I was answered that I must join NONE of them, for they were ALL wrong, and the personage who addressed me said that ALL their creeds were an abomination in His sight: that those professors were ALL corrupt... " (Joseph Smith)
LDS cannot just take or leave for this is authoritative "Scripture"; this verse originates as the supposed description of the very foundation of the church--the First Vision of Joseph Smith. One of the top 4 teachings explained by every LDS missionary is the doctrine of the universal apostasy of the historic Christian church (they teach this right alongside their key doctrine of "restoration"). Any true-believing LDS candidate (not necessarily a Jack Mormon candidate) who approaches us historic Christians is saying: "You are an apostate; I am a restorationist built upon the complete ashes of your faith. Your creeds--all of them--are an 'abomination' before God. Your professing believers are 'corrupt.'
Not what I would call very inspiring of a candidate-leader. (Not only does this label us as apostates of the historic Christian faith, but it makes Jesus out to be a false prophet
Jesus said the gates of hell would not prevail against His church Matthew 16:18
LDS teach the church was prevailed over by the gates of hell for at least 1500 years.)
No, it is a help to McCain, that is why his people were told to move to Huckabee in the second vote.
Please. I was born Catholic, my whole family is Catholic, I have scads of Catholic friends, and not a one of us could care less that Romney is a Mormon.
I went to the local school to vote and signed in. No lines at Noon. The lady handing out ballots said, "Democrat?" I said, No, Republican so she gave me our REP ballot, then I went to the REP voting booth and a poll worker said to me, "Republican?!" (as though I had wandered into the wrong booth?) He repeated twice until I finally answered him loudly: "REPUBLICAN!!!" I'm in the right booth; leave me alone, fool.
Funny thing, the voter who came after me used the REP booth next to mine; no other DEM voters at that moment...lolol.
Otherwise, everyone going in and out of there looked like Obama material, maybe a few Hitlerys.
Anyway, proud to vote for Mitt, but voting isn't the wonderful, discreet experience it once was. I remember booths with curtains on them and a hushed atmosphere.
I’m a Massachusetts resident and I voted for Duncan Hunter.
.
He’s not in, so I’m wondering why? Why even waste the time, you could of stayed home.
Looks like our delegates will be wasted on Huckabroke but the pollsters have been wrong before!
My concern is what he says about leading the United States of America.
The Founders came to these shores to escape a religous test in their government; would you seek to have it reimposed?
What are you smoking? Whatever it is, it's dangerous.
