I looked around for Dobson’s statement. Can’t get through to Laura Ingraham’s website yet, and it’s not on Family.org or other possibles I could think of yet. I won’t be able to look much longer, but I hope someone is able to come up with it soon.
I’m not believing the trash out there. I looked at the judges and the Mass. law about the appointment process. Aside from that, Bork has gone squishy on 2nd Amendment, among other things.

any advice for a NY voter? I am heading out after lunch to the polls. The present plan is to vote for Romney.
Silly me, I hope that somehow NY will come through, and reject McCain. I hate it that we are a “winner take all” state!
If anyone has a better strategy for my vote, please let me know!
If McCain bungles this at this point, his meltdown is going to be epic.
Superdelegates are honorees of each party. Governors, high level party officials, etc... who aren’t elected by the voters but are installed in the convention by the party itself. Demodog superdelegates comprise a major part of their voting at the convention. Republican superdelegates are far less numerous, and due to the way the GOP convention works, have far less sway.
Hitlery pretty much owns the Demodog party apparatus. That’s why she needs very little in the way of primary victories now - the superdelegates love the cash that the ‘Toon brings in from Hollywood and other celebrity sources.
Sounds like a well thought out strategy to me. Try to take a few more with you.

just voted for Romney here in Southeast Alabama, not encouraged from what I am hearing from voters here. Polls were busy this morning so I am hoping.
Not necessarily. Some states like FL were penalized for passing a law to move their primary to the head of the line so only half their delegates will be allowed. On the RAT side in FL none of their votes will count for Florida. Some states have partial delegate allotments (IIRC) and so it could still be a horse race to the end. In fact it might not end at the "finish line" if there comes a requirement for a "brokered convention."
I haven't seen such a tense or uncertain political atmosphere in this country since I was in grade school grousing about the stupid convention pre-empting the original Star Trek tv show. But my parents (r.i.p.) were glued to the tv screen! The bottom line is that every vote still counts and you must do your duty when the moment arises otherwise, who will?
I just looked at the markets. Not only have all stock indices gapped downward, with no sign of recovering so far - nearly all commodities have tanked, too. Notably, gold -$20, oil -$2, copper -$.10, corn -.05 ... Most others, too. Looks like everyone’s starting to think in terms of slowing economy worldwide.

While John McCain has risen to the top of the heap among contenders for the Republican presidential nomination, Focus on the Family founder James Dobson remains adamant that he will not support McCain’s bid for the White House.
Dobson, one of the nation’s most influential evangelical Christians, declared more than a year ago that he wouldn’t support McCain under any circumstances, saying McCain didn’t support traditional marriage values.
A Dobson spokesman told the New York Times’ David Kirkpatrick Wednesday that he stood by that position, and as a matter of conscience could never vote for the Arizona Senator.
