Dear friend and FReeper nunya bidness has died.
It happened last week. It was a heart attack. He was 44.
He will be buried tomorrow in Columbia, MD.
Praying for his family, and all those he loved.
God rest the soul of a dear Freeper!
Crikey! R.I.P. Mate....
I turned 51 back in 2005 when I had a heart valve replaced and a stent inserted to correct an anneurism.
Two days after coming out of hospital I suffered what is called a “perecardial effusion”.In the rush to get me back to surgery to fix it they had to defibrillate three times.
I remember being put in the ambulance and then waking later
after my cardioligist inserted a 6” needle into my chest cavity to relieve the crushing pressure.(It was like somebody lifting a cement bag off me.)The ambulance driver popped by a few minutes later and told me I was lucky.(And he told me about the paddles.)
This was the most times I ever thanked somebody.
So young. Sorry to hear. May God rest his soul in peace, and may He comfort all of his loved ones and friends.
Nuts. RIP, Brother. On the FReeper front, you had (at the very least) a great and wonderful home page.

Way too soon for this good man to go. Prayers up for his family and those left behind who had the good fortune to know him. He did good things and helped many people.

Dear Anna —
I am so sorry. I know you two were close friends. Nunya was better friends with my dog than me. Still, I loved him and admired him and learned a lot from him.
I ache for his family and a few of those I know for a fact were proud to call him a friend and loved him like a brother.
This is news I cannot quite process right now.
It’s a sad thing to only show up here for the funerals anymore. This one puts me in shock.
Keeping his family, you, his friends and all who were fortunate enough to know him in my prayers. This hurts.
