McCain is coming to CPAC and we need to be there to give him a very warm welcome

Seems John McCain now wants to make time to attend CPAC this Election Year to court Conservatives.

Well some so-called Conservatives have resigned themselves to the fact that McCain is going to be the Republican Party Nominee, well I for one refuse to allow the media to cram McCain down our throats!!!

Bush has never governed like a Conservative, but at least he knew to pay his respects to Conservatives and never to stab us in the back, were McCain on the other hand has made it his business to stab Conservatives in the back at every chance to endear himself to the liberal left and its media.

There is no way in hell that McCain should be allowed to walk in to CPAC and sale us a bunch of bs.

Everyone in attendance could wear a sombrero.

Airfare to DC $229

Cost of hotel room for Convention $369

Picture of John McCain's face when he seen an audience full of Conservatives wearing sombreros

PRICELESS!

From what I heard McCain kicked a woman out of a town hall meeting for daring to ask him about his illegal immigration stance. The crotchety sour puss apparently doesn’t think it’s our right to know those things so everyone should have questions ready about his amnesty positions and why he’d love to sell us out.

I was at C-PAC last year when McCain “dissed” us. He didn’t need us then. The only reason he would come this time is if he thinks he has won the nomination. But if it’s not locked up? I can’t really see him showing up to get booed.

McCain's campaign purchased a booth at CPAC and announced on Wednesday that McCain himself would attend the event. McCain's advisers see the event as a win-win for their candidate. "If he's applauded, then we can spin it that he's being welcomed by the base that is important to win in the fall. If they boo him, then these are still the morons who haven't liked him for a decade, so no big surprise, and John looks like the bigger man for showing up and taking the abuse. But I don't think the latter will happen. Everyone understands the political stakes. John McCain is going to be the nominee, and conservatives don't want Hillary or Obama in the White House. They will support John McCain."

He spends like LBJ. The tax cuts are great, but not when they are countered by borrowing from the ChiComs.

Bush has never governed like a Conservative, but at least he knew to pay his respects to Conservatives and never to stab us in the back

How about being a cheerleader for amnesty, saying he would build a fence that has yet to be built, Harriet Myers nomination, a 3 trillion dollar budget announced today and not vetoing one of the pork laden bills that were sent to him, starting a war in Iraq and never being out there using the bully pulpit to keep up support for such war, etc etc. Bush has stabbed us in the back repeatedly. McAmnesty is Bush's third term. The only difference is McAmnesty happened to be right about Rumsfeld way before Bush. I don't support either of them.

Don’t you ever come up with any new material? You have been scream the same stupid lines since you got here. It is really getting boring, childish and trite.

Last year McCain also missed the National Review Institute Conservative Summit and Heritage Foundation’s Conservative Members Retreat. He also turned down an invitation to speak at a Club for Growth conference. McCain did however appear on the Late Night show with David Letterman during the week of last year’s CPAC.

McCain is so short, some folks might not appreciate their view being blocked while he is on the stage. Otherwise, it’s a creative idea. On the other hand, there were plenty of signs for the candidates last year at CPAC.

johnnie, i don’t get it . For weeks we have heard that the right is not needed or wanted. Mccain will win without them so they don’t need their money or their support . Just wait until he gets the nomination , the cries for medical records and cancer rumors will be rampant by his moderate and indy friends in the msm. There will be new concerns about is age.” Well yes the senator is a war hero and a fine man , but what if , God forbid he cannot finish his term “. You can make book on it.
