And most of our economic problems are caused by illegal aliens - they are NOT immigrants. Our parents, grandparents, etc were immigrants. These are lawbreaking criminals.
They are responsible for the lower wages, and our paying for their medical care and education of their children is increasing our taxes. The crimes they commit help the fascist-types insist on more abrogations of the BoR ans the further regulations.
But MSM and Faux News are telling us voters that porous borders and illegal aliens are not important because “it’s the economy, stupid.” Well, I say it is the lack of security at the border and the lack of punishment for those who hire illegals that has caused much of the stupid economy.

1. Duncan Hunter was “Marginalized” from the get-go. Obviously by the libs, but even by the conservative commentators. Solid conservative became “pet rock”.
2. The whole conservative GOP may have a dagger sticking in its back. (I’m still a Dem), but to you: “Welcome to the NEW gop.”
3. Conservative GOP commentators & voters playing the moderate / liberal games “is not helping this situation a bit”.

Hillary Clinton speaks Thursday night during the Democratic presidential debate in California, a state where her political fortunes are falling.
Stop the presses! The very latest polling data from California indicate a sharp trend for Obama and against Hillary. Preliminary indications in other states are that the trend is very widespread and not just concentrated on the west coast.
Pollster Scott Rasmussen’s three day tracking survey, conducted on January 28-30, shows Hillary with a bare and dwindling 3 point lead over Obama in California. He has Hillary at 43%, Obama at 40%, and Edwards (two of the three days were before he dropped out) at 9%. This data compares with a 20 point plus Hillary margin in most polls in California just a few weeks ago.
Other polls have Obama winning Georgia (O-52 H-36) and Alabama (O-40 H-35) with their sizable minority populations, but also very close in Massachusetts, trailing there by only H-43 O-37 and in Montana by only H-40 O-33. National polls also indicate a sharp closing of the race. Gallup has Hillary just six ahead and Rasmussen’s national data is even closer.
Edwards’ withdrawal will help Obama in all likelihood and, with these poll numbers, he is more likely to endorse Obama.
Of course, a lot will hinge on how well each candidate does in tonight’s Democratic debate.
But there could be a wrinkle. In most states, most of the delegates are awarded by Congressional District and the candidate with the most votes wins all the delegates from that district. Even if Obama were to carry California by, say 53-47, he might win the black districts by 80-20 and lose most or all of the white districts, giving Hillary the vast bulk of the delegates. Obama would have to get his margin of victory up to 8-10 points to be sure of sweeping the delegates in a given state.
Yet, when all is said and done, the trend lines for Obama are unbelievably positive just a few days before Super Tuesday.
The McCain nomination looks like a done deal. He is beating Romney in all five states with recent polls, winning California by 32-28, Illinois by 34-26, Georgia by 35-24, and Tennessee by 33-25. Huckabee is in second place in Tennessee with Romney running last.

You pose an interesting question. My take is that Romney would be able show with his executive and political experience, he is far better equipped and able than Hillary or Obama to “lead on day one”.
The unanswerable question now, is, can he survive the Clinton machine until November 4th?

The conservative response should be, we’re not playing the games anymore. Call the bluff. Let the moderates figure out their own problem, who they want.
One spontaneous thought I have: For conservative voters, at the polls, *Figuretively Speaking*, between the GOP conservatives & the GOP moderates, it’s time for the “Shoot-out at the OK-Corral!” Bring on Super Tuesday & let’s Vote.

Everyone is sweating about what’s going to happen in the general election. *NO ONE* is saying word one about conservative Dems and conservative Union members. So I don’t know how many of us there are, and conservatives don’t seem to be trying to find out.
OK, at least FRed said something nice about Dem voters, - a meager start.
Conservative talkers - when they are faced w/ dead air, they shuffle their papers and mumble something about `ragun democrats...’ = meager lip service.
Conservatives have problems, because in several ways, conservatives really aren’t trying.
What has got you down, is the liberal / moderate math, the election math.
Looking way forward to the general election, all GOP will vote GOP, and all Dems / union members will vote Dem. So whoever has the most, they will win.
But then, there are moderate GOP who might vote Dem in the general. Oh, that would be bad. Conservatives better compromise and yield in the primaries, to keep the GOP happy.
AND, usually, not a mention about conservative Dems & labor who will be voting conservative in the general election. When is someone going to figure THAT into the election voting equation? And what efforts are being made to coordinate and work with conservative Dems & Labor to bring change to the Dem Party, and to get more Dems to vote `right’?
Moderate / liberal GOP flaunt themselves. Conservative Dems / labor generally lay low. More FR / radio / tv chit-chat is not the answer.
Step by step: For FR, need some Dem / Union Labor pages. If the leftist disruptors try to set up shop to take advantage, I expect FR can handle that.
An inviting environment, to draw moderate / conservative Dems into FR. I was never a professional / or indoctrinated leftist, but I was mostly leftist in my thinking. If I can change, others can change. There are several leading conservatives who were once hard-core leftists.
Develop a basic conservative message that connects with Dems and union members. What is the best way for the country; and the ways the Dems and unions have to change. Are there any ways conservatives have to change? Or, what about bad business practices?
The entrenched Dem leaders may not change, but if Dem voters go moderate or occassionally show their conservative colors, suddenly / hopefully the election math will change. Maybe there will be some change in the Dem Party. I have good reason to believe / know that there are -some- mid / lower level Dem leaders who would like to see some moderate / conservative change in the Dem Party. I have no interest in seeing the prominent Dem leaders / candidates change, why don’t they just get out of the way. - I’m looking for new fresh talent. One execption: NM Gov. Bill Richardson, IF he would change.
Either some / many Dem voters voting moderate / conservative, or some change in the Dem Party...
If that begins to happen, hopefully GOP conservatives will be stronger, & GOP rino’s will be weakened. Either they (rino’s) will become more comfortable with the conservative message & get w/ the program, or they will find another party.

I doubt Hunter would get back into this race but I’ll keep pushing him for the future. I’ve read that he’s picked up some 75,000 votes since dropping out and he’s a young man by political standards.

The kids need to learn how to eat in peace and good order. To wash up beforehand and settle into a *meal* -- not a gobbled snack -- with a blessing. At when done, to leave the table and floor clean -- and not some mess for "others" to clean, or worse -- to have to eat within, in those schools where there are multiple lunches.

Some people already are looking beyond this final demolition of the political process to what comes next. We inherited a republican system of government that was laboriously built over centuries of Western civilization. It has mostly accommodated the conflicting interests of all factions of Americans and allowed us to manage our affairs without political violence. Now, some of our best people are quietly putting their faith in that system aside. I fear for my children and grandchildren. Whatever happens, we are headed for cruel times.
