Romney, the former Massachusetts governor, had 59% of the vote with 3% of the towns holding caucuses reporting. Ron Paul trailed with 19%, John McCain had 18%, and Mike Huckabee and undecided votes each had about 2%.

LOL. Typical. You don't pull the lever because of feeeeeelings, or because of how a candidate looks or dresses. Support should be absent "feelings" and based upon a candidates past actions, decisions, stances, alliances made, positions taken. Based on those things, Romney falls way short of being able to honestly state he is a conservative.
I was glad to see Santorum and Brian Bilbray both coming out for Romney!
It's not a slow news day. There has been another strip mall shooting in Tinley Park, IL, don't feel so hot so let somebody pick it up and post on the board.
Back to regularly . . .this is kind of how the FL nail biter went. Hope it goes better for Mitt in Maine.
Looks like Romney is going to fight for every vote.
21% reporting and Paul still beating McCain by 2%. Romney at higher then everyone else combined.
Gee I wonder how many Mormons in Maine (/sarcasm)
Good advice! Thanks!
A few but guessing not many. It will be interesting, whether Mitt pulls through or not, what tipped things for him in the early results from Maine.
McCain falls way short of being able to honestly state he is a conservative.
Gomer Huckabee falls way short of being able to honestly state he is a conservative.
Thompson needs to come out for Romney NOW
Dig the tag line, can’t see how anyone could argue McDole, Hucklbee, or Paul are going to be better candidates, try as they may. Rudy sure turned into a disappointment, never thought he would get out before McDole.
Fox has been telling Romney to drop out since before Iowa. They are as bad as CNN. I no longer watch except for Hannity and turn the channel then when Frank Luntzbag or Carl comes on.
Sadly this is getting ZERO coverage in the MSM. I’ve have not seen it mentioned even once.
What does McQueeg stand for? oops, that would be amnesty, tax increases, liberal justices, etc. What is the Queeg part?
Put Romney’s debating skill against either Democrat, he knows what he is talking about with some depth. Does your choice of any other Republican compare? I dare say not.
What does that have to do with my stating that: You don't pull the lever because of feeeeeelings, or because of how a candidate looks or dresses. Support should be absent "feelings" and based upon a candidates past actions, decisions, stances, alliances made, positions taken. Based on those things, Romney falls way short of being able to honestly state he is a conservative.
Are you implying something? Or do you agree with what I said?
Fox and the rest of the McCain backing media isn’t reporting, so it must be big news for Mitt Romney.
That's exactly what the bot is trying to do: drive away Romney supporters.
Don't fall for it. What you see someone excessively bashing Romney, check the sign-up date and look at their posting history. You'll find that most of these people have never been active here, don't participate in any other discussions and show all the signs of being paid political operatives.
I'm not saying Mitt doesn't have legit detractors here, but the McCain bots are working double-time to spam these threads. Don't let them get to you.
If we could only get Huckabee to drop out also!
Huckabee is not going to drop out. McCain won’t let him.
Refresh me on Specter incident?
There are pahlenty of legitimate detractors here. What I see are new sign ups for Mitt. Appears organized to promote yet another RINO candidate.
2. I know this is only a first step in awarding Maines delegates, but if they all go to Romney would that put him in the lead?
