Unfrickin' Believable!
I'll never forget watching an English drama and the killer goes to meet his mistress, also a reporter, on the roof of a building. She's started to figure what's up, he decides he doesn't need the grief and picks her straight up and tosses her over the side of the building - and this was a middle aged guy! I'd never seen anything like it - it wasn't a push or shove, the women was just picked up and placed over the side of the building. whoa!
Ever since that day I've been happy to be plump. No throwing me off the side of a building!
LOL
Considering your post up thread, something you most certainly are not.
Most of the restaurants will go out of business!
This will of course violate the Americans With Disabilities Act.
Sure seems to be what the nanny-staters want to have happen.
Good God.
I wonder how much the politicians who thought up this absurdity weigh, and how much the ones who vote on it weigh.
Will they also vote themselves exemptions?
Does this mean the cops can’t get donuts any more?
Looks like it. Talk about motivation to lose weight.
That was funny!! Love it!!
I knew someone who had cancer of the thyroid and had it removed. She was diabetic, on all kinds of hormones, was fat as could be because of it and she had about a 25 pound liver which didn’t help. So she doesn’t get served because she’s *fat*?
Yeah, right, it was all her fault.
When I signed up for private health insurance, I noticed my policy booklet had a different premium than what I applied for online.
The reason? My BMI was too high, as I am 5-10 and 220 lbs. Um, though I could stand to lose about 10-12 lbs, I am FAR from obese or unhealthy (go to the gym all the time and do cardio and weighlifting) and I had gained not quite 30 lbs and was in BETTER shape than when I qualified for a lower premium.
But according to the stupid BMI, I’m obese!
Okay, that ain’t right. Just imagine how many people Michael Moore could feed if you prepared him correctly.
Here in Georgia, we thank God for Mississippi, because it keeps us from falling below 49th on various quality-of-life stats. And we thank God for Alabama, because it keeps Mississippi just that much farther away.
That sounds like a very reasbnable bill. Are you all fatsos on this forum, so upset about not being able to get your daily share of grease? How about a rehab? Britney is submitting to it, why can’t you fatsos?
I don't know how old you are, but the America I knew and loved disappeared in the middle 1960s. Cultural Marxism has only intensified since then. I think things can't get any crazier but they do, daily.
I had a dear friend up to about 350 pounds, and she was sort of short. Oh, how people used to put her down, offer her diets, shake their heads at her lack of self-control. I never saw her eat that much.
She was too embarrassed, because of her weight, to go to the doctor with health problems. She suffered with many problems for years to avoid the humiliation.
After falling very ill and just about dying, an ambulance came to get her and she went to the hospital. She had a severe case of pneumonia. As they treated her, they discovered a congenital heart condition. They gave her a combo of heart drugs and she went to the doctor regularly for a few months to be monitored and have the drugs tweaked.
She’s lost over 100 pounds - most of it water. Yes, her heart condition affected her circulation which made her retain a whole lot of water. Then she could barely walk, got no exercise to speak of. So she gained and gained.
She’s much better now. I burn when I think of all the nasty thoughts and words directed at her which had nothing to do with her behavior. I hope she eats in a restaurant every day for the rest of her life. If no one likes they way she looks they can dang well stay home. She almost died for her shame over something that had little to do with her in the first place.
You NEVER KNOW why a person appears unusually heavy.
