Huck is way better, Mccain is supposed to be good but will he appoint he right Judges-he favors research that destroy human embryos.

I was a Hunter guy, then Fred, then had to settle for Romney to strop McCain. The Youtube videos are all over-He did support abortion. Romney is either a convert or a great liar. Wilkes, founder of National Right To Life and Bopp (who helped write the GOP pro-life plank) both take him in as a convert.

Someone else said it best...better a convert than a traitor. I wish we had a better option.

Yeah. I’m still going to suport Huckabee right now. I’ll just have to wait and see what happens and then go from there. I’m looking at Romney but some things about him really bother me. I may end up going back to the beginning and writing
Hunter in. Tell me again why we didn’t all rally behind him?

no only a few people are waking up.

there are only four days to tuesday.

remember hunter only had about 4,000 people ultimatly vote for him.

we need to go OUTSIDE of FR, outside the net to the senile seniors and sincire conserves face to fact and deal with it there.

“Yall first (and I promise to answer).I asked who the Romney base would vote for if Huckabee dropped out and no one has answered. Would Romney supporters go for McCain?”

No. I loathe McCain. I could not pull the lever for him under any circumstances.

this is what suprises me.

the prolife movement has worked for YEARS to reach out and explain to people to bring them over to the pro life view.

So when they are brought over to the pro life view, they are “not good enough”.

It’s not that they aren’t good enough but we are known by our “fruits” Verbalizing a change is great but you have to give people time to see that you mean it.

very true.

however there is some “holier than thou” arrogance for those who were bestowed enlightment earlier in life than other people.

So far it seems no one would vote for McCain (at least during the primary) . So where do our votes go? The other guy or write ins? I can’t see how voting for Romney or Huckabee will help McCain either way. I think this is just a scare tactic.

No, It's a vote for McCain.

The Conservatives have the responsibility of picking the nominee now. The moderates and liberals are for the most part going for McCain, and the conservative wing is split with the socials largely supporting Huckabee and the rest supporting Romney or sitting on the sidelines. If Huckabee, who cannot win, takes half a third of the potential conservative vote, McCain will win the nomination.

It's that simple.

Lastly, in the general election to come, many conservatives will not support McCain, and he will most certainly lose to the Dem nominee. (Hillary)

So one could extrapolate that a vote for Huckabee translates as a guaranteed win for the Dem's and certainly it means a vote for McCain because he will take the nomination for sure. But the end result is what we are really concerned with.......no?

Probably. This is so important though. Say Romney doesn’t win (I know, I know, can’t happen:’)this time. If he walks the walk over the next 4 years, it will just make him stronger and gather more voters in the future. His time may not be now. JAT

nobody is covering this ... Fox is talking about the Ted Olson endorsement of McCain.

Last night was the pits at the Levin lounge -- first Ted Olson going to McCain (following Rudy, Arnold, etc.) then JimRob supporting the Huckabee (Yeah, I know; I read point seven but it is really, really far fetched. McCain has to be knocked out NOW not next summer). Definitely looking forward to a better evening.
