Actually it may end up going to Hunter:’) This argument makes no sense to me though. McCain isn’t going anywhere. This is a fight between Romney and Huckabee. One must drop out. If Romney drops out I would think as much as his base hates Huckabee, they would go to McCain. Help me out here, Romney supporters. Getting past the “it will never happen” if Romney dropped out would you vote for Huckabee or McCain?

Let’s see, on the one hand, we have the likes of Rush, Tancredo, Bork, etc endorsing Romney, and we have the likes of Guiliani, Arnold, and the NY Times endorse McCain. Yet some people on this site still argues that there is no difference between the two.

From a joke I heard once: “Money can’t buy happiness, but if I had a big house, fancy car and a giant plasma TV, I wouldn’t mind being unhappy!”
To: Fudd Fan
HMM. Well, I don’t really like in as a candidate but it looks like I’m gonna have to vote for him anyway. That’s enough to get anyone in a bad mood:’)
To: McGruff
Well I wish it was Fred who was endorsing him but if SantorumAs someone who was supporting Fred, I must say that I respect Santorum a hell of a lot more than Thompson right now. I think standing up to the media/RINO groundswell for McCain says a lot about a person's character.

I like “I can’t be bought but you are welcome to try” :’)
To: CindyDawg
That probably explains it for most of us.

By one issue, do you mean abortion? It isn’t a one issue but a first issue with me. If all life isn’t valuable then what will that say about how a candidate will govern in other areas?
To: Reaganesque
Worst kept secret ever. Laura has been a Mitten from day one. Her attempts at being objective were pretty feeble. Nonetheless, at this point, anyone but McCain.
As I pointed out yesterday, is it better to start out conservative and become more liberal like McCain, or liberal and become more conservative like Romney?

(You don't advance conservatism by becoming more liberal. Piss off McCain and Huck!)

Santorum should be the Senator from PA not Mr Scottish Law.

Huck is a big friend of Hillary and Bill. He's another boy from Hope. If either he or McCain gets in,
she still wins.
Hillary is terrified of Obama and Romney. Neither of those two will grant her or hubby a Presidential pardon.
To: Reaganesque
Ah, Rick. First Snarlin' Arlen, now Flip Romney.
To think I wasted so much time promoting you.
Disgraceful.

Thats the factor...ALL life and the respect thereof.
Lets be honest...lately I have seen many who put some life ahead of all others. It should be about the entire package. A candidate can easily say he is for a pro-life amendment...
that in itself does not make me support him. I want to know HOW he is going to do it, what he is going to do about it.
If he says he will get the amendment ...it makes me kinda go hmmmmm as I am not as naive to buy into that.

Yeah I know. That Cheney... is such a nothing position guy. Because Bush was confident enough to make Cheney important in the administration. John McCain is a small man who is only intent upon building himself up. I guarantee he will marginalize his VP so as to make himself look more important.

My first thought was that McCain would never pick Graham for VEEP, because that would be like rubbing it in Conservative’s faces...
Then I remembered it’s McCAIN I’m talking about here, and that he would probably like nothing BETTER.

No. The race is between McCain and Romney. Look at reality.
Huck only helps McCain. Live with it if you support the Huckster. You’re being played.
