Does JM really thin that will cause conservatives to vote for him?

McCain Dangling VP Spot to Huckabee

That is going to PO Lindsey, unless he has been promised AG or some other Cabinet position.

LOL, remember back when people on FR thought FRED was a "stalking horse for McCain"? A ticket with McCainon it would be very, very difficult for me to support. A ticket with McCain AND Huckabee on it is well-nigh impossible. Better to let the country see what 4 years of Hillary is like, remind them (and the GOP) why the GOP was elected in 1994 and 2000, and run with a solid conservative, instead of having to try to unseat a moderate-liberal sitting GOP President.

Nice catch. Wouldn’t surprise me at all.

McCain thinks this will make all amends to Christian Conservatives.

I believe this is a likely outcome. In fact, if I were pressed right now, I would say we’re looking at a McCain/Huckabee v. Clinton/Obama contest this fall.

Wow, that would make for an amazingly bad ticket.

Huckabee, Thompson, Graham et al, actually believe McCains “promises”?

These two amnesty candidates will not get my vote. Another poster labeled them the Manchurian Candidate and the Dogpatch candidate.

Confirms my theory on why Huckabee won’t quit. He’s McCain’s butt boy.

McCain will probably trick him. He’s using Huckabee to draw votes away from Romney, is McCain really that level a scoundrel? Time will tell. The more time goes on the less I like McCain, he was very rude and crass toward Romney in the debates.

McCain - Huckabee. That is like the worst ticket imaginable for conservatives.

I was just discussing this on another blog. I think there is a deal. Huckabee is playing spoiler.
