Do you rememeber what happened when TR did that? Wilson got in, and he sat back and let our military stagnate. As Europe erupted in war, we did nothing, and built no military. Eventually he was forced to join the allies, but we were woefully underprepared. Taft would have been far better and would have allowed the United States to be a force that would be respected, and that could defend itself properly.
He/She is still a belligerent simpleton. And a mindless anti-Romney bot.
I don’t care how protected they are.
Bears repeating.
TehRon is a strict surrenderist, too. Don’t forget that.
LOL ann was pretty ticked... Stand strong folks, it’s not over yet.
If by trying to reach we on the right while there's still time they're, "cheating us"??
Being cheated.
...never felt so good.
She should just not vote or write in Thompson or Romney, but I doubt she will vote for Hillary. If she does, then I will burn her books I have at my house.
Like you, I cannot in good conscience vote for Hillary or, perhaps worse, Obama. But neither can I in good conscience vote for McCain.
So, that leaves third party, or write-in, or leave it blank. And vote for the rest of the Republicans on the ticket unless they have similar problems.
But Ann is more right than wrong about this. Hillary is better than McCain. She has talked pullout from Iraq because she's defending her left flank against her rival Democrats and avoiding offending the base any more than she has to. But some Democrats fight wars when they have to. In fact, almost every major war we have fought in has been presided over by Democrats. They actually have an advantage, because the media doesn't fight them every step of the way.
Yes, she would appoint bad SCOTUS judges, but so would McCain. She would empower the UN to kill babies with our tax money, but so would McCain. There's no avoiding it unless we get some kind of miracle here and somehow nominate a better candidate whom we can vote for.
If that’s Obama’s family, what would be the problem with them being in the White House? I don’t know a damned thing about them. They may be nice people. I don’t like Obama’s platform one bit, but I have nothing against his family. As far as I know they are law abiding citizens and they should have as much right to be there as your or my family would.
There’s only one thing you can tell from that picture, and the implication is that their appearance would make them unwelcome there. I find that implication troubling.
The best part was how she just stunned Alan Colmes into silence!
But I tend to agree with her - I THINK it would be easier to vote for Hillary than McCain, especially after seeing all of those rodent-like faces he was making at Romney during Wednesday’s debate.
Thanks McMuffin.

Yes I agree with you, TBP. That “Earthdweller” is a liberal and a McCain operative.
Come on Newt, Run. You can win as a Third Party candidate. Perot was not successful, but you have done your homework. Only you can save the GOP from ruination.
“threat of the latest bogeyman from the left”
What you are describing is politics. People disagree. That is the nature of people. There will always be conservatives, liberals, and everything in between. Therefore, more often than not, the best available candidate does not excite us. If we only voted FOR who we like, and never AGAINST those we don’t like, then we probably would never vote.
Its hard for me to believe that people actually think that McCain would be no better than Hillary. Its got to be the anger talking, making people irrational.
“Hey moose2004...
Bull Moose Party - Republican Teddy Roosevelt walked out of the Republican convention with his delegates.
This will happen in reverse with conservatives walking out and the Democrap will win.”
With all due respect I don’t buy a word of this. McCain will ask a good conservative to be his running mate (I hope it’s Haley Barbour, Bill Owens or John Kasich), he will embrace a conservative platform and declare that he will veto any dem tax increase. I further believe he will crush either Obama or Hillary, it won’t even be a contest.
Thanks. We’re in agreement.
I like your comment about a third party, not so much because I relish the idea, but the political setting couldn’t be more ripe for one.
Hillary and Obama? McCain and Romney?
Tell me their aren’t a bunch of very unhappy voters on both sides of the isle this year. A third party ticket might be able to swamp the two parties this fall.
