Romney For President Launches "Experience Matters" Television Ad In California

Press Release - Boston, MA – Today, Romney for President launched its "Experience Matters" television ad in California. The ad highlights Governor Romney's belief that our nation's leader must have the experience "to run the largest enterprise in the world." Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) does not have that experience and our nation cannot afford a leader who needs on-the-job training when it comes to executive leadership and the economy. Governor Romney has led businesses, the 2002 Winter Olympics and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In each case, he brought change and turned around institutions. As President, he will do the same for our government.
The ad will begin airing tomorrow in California. Script and viewing links are below.

I agree. Super Tuesday is just 4 days away and with Romney going to be at a funeral on Saturday he needs to be running against McCain right now. I wonder if this is the ad he will be using in the other 5 states he says the ad will target? If so, it is lame!
This would be a major upset if Mitt can turn things around and win enough delegates, but you never know until it’s over.
I’ve already cast my vote for Romney via absentee ballot.
Fred apparently. Went through a bunch of post history to try and find out. Most of his posts are against Romney (but no stated valid claims), some against Huck, a few against McCain, and think I stumbled on some against Rudy.
Given that Fred is out I guess that leaves Ron Paul.
Experience DOES matter.
And the more complete and well-rounded the experience, the more it matters.
A lesson, perhaps, the Democraticans are incapable of learning.
The best, most experienced and well-rounded person the Democraticans had in the running was Bill Richardson of New Mexico.
Anchor child, a U.S. Representative, Ambassador to the United Nations, the U.S. Secretary of Energy, and Governor of New Mexico. Broad appeal to the Mexican Hispanics. Conversant in Spanish.
And yet, the Democratican establishment squashed him like a bug. No respect.
But the best people for the job, so seldom get to be put up for consideration.
Maybe the situation gets so deadlocked, that a brokered convention becomes the only way out?
I would like to see that happen in BOTH conventions.
Then, possibly, a much better compromise could arise.
Mitt is good, perhaps the best of those now running, and much more adapted to lead a large organizational body than almost anybody else out there.
But the one I would want to see, would be Condoleezza Rice, brilliant, and yes, shrewd in the ways of statesmanship. Could she be drafted, even at this late date?
At a brokered convention, almost anything could happen.
I just wish I could slip over into that alternate universe.
A few points in either state won't make much difference since they're proportional.
McCain will win most of the winner-take-all states and cruise to a huge Super Tuesday win.
