PARIS (Reuters) - Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama told a French magazine in an interview that if he wins office, he will hold a summit with Muslim countries to better the United States' image in the world.
"Once I'm elected, I want to organize a summit in the Muslim world, with all the heads of state, to have an honest discussion about ways to bridge the gap that grows every day between Muslims and the West," Thursday's edition of Paris Match quoted Obama as saying,

And the rocket's red glare,
the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night
That we torched their whole lair.
Oh, say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O'er the land of the free, or those who live in a cave?

His church is farrakhan friendly..Oh great, just what the US needs, a Farrakhan disciple sitting behind the Oval Office desk. Can it get any worse or is this it?

We are happy and free! We are free to do whatever we want.
(We are wearing our Victoria's Secrets under these.)
Barack = blessed by Allah, also Mohammed's winged horse
Hussein = good handsome one, also Mohammed's Grandson
Obama = Kenyan surname of his Father, meaning to be determined

Pretty sad.
Our choices:
1) The Red Witch
2) Naive (or worse) make nicey with our enemies
3) McAztlan
4) A hopefully-he-won’t-flip-flop from Massachusetts.
Worse election choices I can remember in my 52 years of living. Sadly, number 4 looks like the least OMGN choice. But number 3 seems to be surging. Lord help us.

Yet, on another thread, we have people actually saying they would either vote for him or stay home because they could never vote for McCain. I can’t STAND McCain, but I would NEVER hoist this guy or Hillary on my children. Those two will bow at the alter of the UN and get us all killed.
Unbelievable!!!!!

Obama wants summit with Muslim countries Time to revive "Obamanation" to describe the pending disaster if "Barry" becomes president. Given the screw-ups of JFK he really could be another JFK.

"Once I'm elected, I want to organize a summit in the Muslim world, with all the heads of state, to have an honest discussion about ways to bridge the gap that grows every day between Muslims and the West," Thursday's edition of Paris Match quoted Obama as saying,... Obama is hopelessly naive. He should save himself a trip and just talk to Dr. Michael Savage. Most of the gap is in the deplorable lifestyle that the world of Islam sees in the USA. They believe that the western world is characterized by a lack of family values, mocking of marriage by gays, secular humanism, and no morality. Quite the opposite of the family oriented Islamic community, and, perhaps a threat to their existence.

My sister pointed out that what the MSM was criticizing Bush for in going after Saddam because he was simply finishing what the first Bush didn’t do, didn’t make us look like bullies in the muslim’s eyes, it made perfect sense to them.
They will take revenge for something that happened generations ago. It’s their bizarre honor thing; but to them, Bush II finishing up what his father didn’t do is what they’d do.
It’s the MSM that thinks it made us look bad in the world’s eyes.

I hear a lot about Paul these days. Many people are intrigued by him and he appears to be VERY popular on college campuses.
Heck, when I was in Ithaca a couple weeks ago, through no choice of my own, I saw a college age kid standing on a busy street corner with a huge sign endorsing Ron Paul.
(At the risk of thread hijacking, there’s a Wal-Mart open down there. Saw it with my own eyes.)
