AND NOW . . . amidst billowing clouds of fragrant, aromatic first- and second-hand premium cigar smoke. . . it is time for . . . that harmless, lovable little fuzz ball, the highly-trained broadcast specialist, having more fun than a human being should be allowed to have, firmly ensconced in the prestigious Attila-the-Hun chair at the Limbaugh Institute of Advanced Conservative Studies, from behind the golden EIB microphone, with talent on loan from G-d, at the cutting-edge of societal evolution, with half his brain tied behind his back just to make it fair, the all-knowing, all-caring, all-sensing, all-feeling, Maha-Rushie! America's Anchorman, Truth Detector, and Doctor of Democracy. He is the man who runs America. He knows the Democrats like every square inch of his glorious naked body. He is ready to do what he was born to do--That's host. Get ready to what you were born to do--That's listen (and post your comments on the Rush Limbaugh LIVE Radio Thread).
Romney/Thompson could be the deal, but the Super Tuesdaay states are left leaners so not sure that would pull enough votes for Romney no matter what...
Another point:
There is more at stake in this election than McCain as our nominee or defeating the Democrats.
This is a battle for the lost soul of the Republican Party. This isn’t just “Us vs. McCain.” This is “Us vs. The Mainstream Media.”
The Mainstream Media sees this as an opportunity to crush conservatives. If McCain is the nominee, the conservative movement will be declared “dead.”
So, although Romney is not my favorite candidate, I will donate to his campaign and campaign for him.
If Romney wins it will be due to conservative support. He will owe us and some in the MSM will have to acknowledge our influence.
There is much a stake. The divide and conquer strategy of the MSM must be stopped.
Hi and thank you for the ping.
Romney needs a southerner on his ticket for sure.
I am not sure, but he might have endorsed George W. Bush.
“Which hour of Laura Ingraham? I hear it on XM from Noon til 3”
The second hour, or could have been the end of the first hour.
But she also played McLame saying he thought Hillary would make a terrific President.
The entire show was good
But you may be onto something on how to get through this election season.
I think I caught Rush very obliquely alluding to the real reason he hasn't endorsed anyone yesterday...
...evidently McKeating has threatened him with some sort of campaign law violation.
You had to listen, but it was there.
If McKeating becomes President, his first act will be to close the "talk-radio loophole" of McKeating/Feingold.
Yup, which means moderates and liberals and especially Dims who switch party affiliation (for a few hours) get to choose the Republican candidate each cycle.
Maybe time for the RNC to get into the game and 'convince' right leaning states to move their primaries up. Too late for this cycle, but they could easily do it for 2012.
Early Jersey Pings!
PRESHOW RANT:
Who ARE these so-called Republicans who keep voting for McCain???????? Don't these nitwits realize that McCain isn't any better than Hillary for Prez?????
I heard that too. That would be a smart move on Romney’s part...
What? What? That is utterly ridiculous. Huck is a liberal....and why shouldn’t Rush expose him?
Shoooo
Rush did not make the dopes vote Juan.
Good afternoon TSchmereL, megadittos from Biggirl. Also a special ElRushbo megadittos PING!!!!
Call me cheap but I took an Excedrin PM and slept well.
McCain is a NIGHTMARE from liberal HELL!!
Looking at the FOX exit poll, it’s clear to see what attracts people to McCain:

McCain cleaned up on the Hispanic vote. Yeah, he’ll “build a fence” and then PUSH AMNESTY again. That’s what he said.
I doubt McCain will ever be president, but there is a small chance.
Some of us on FR have been saying this over and over for over a week!
Thompson would help Mitt in the Southern swing states...Tennessee, Louisiana, Florida, Arkansas...Missouri and West Virginia as well. Choosing Fred would shore up Romney’s conservative credentials.
Fred would be excellent as a VP...slapping around Congress, selecting and promoting judicial nominations. As a candidate, Fred could continue across the South and Midwest while Romney concentrates on the North and West.
Unfortunately, McCain may be thinking the same thing.
He did in 2004 because Bush was the only candidate.
He did not in 2000 until Bush was the last one standing.
Rush has always withheld his endorsement.
