But I thought McCain believed the family values crowd were “agents of intolerance”.

“Mitt Romney thinks he can fool us. He supported abortion on demand, even allowed a law mandating taxpayer-funding for abortion. He says he changed his mind, but he still hasnt changed the law. He told gay organizers in Massachusetts he would be a stronger advocate for special rights than even Ted Kennedy. Now, its something different.”
seems true enough

I always enjoy watching one severly flawed individual beat up on another severely flawed individual for being severely flawed. While these two duke it out, I’ll be right cheer with a vote neither one of them will ever see.

Hey McCain, if Ted Kennedy is so scary, why does your name appear right next to his in the illegal immigrant amnesty bill, McCain-Kennedy?

Here are the Senators who voted against the Cornyn amendment , which would have established a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals looking to snag a shamnesty visa. Republicans underlined:
Never forget McCain not only pushed the amnesty bill, he refused to allow exclusions for the worst of the lot. And he unloaded
his infamous temper on his mild-mannered senate colleague for having the audacity to introduce this amendment.
While I regret some of you may be annoyed by what you feel is spamming this message on campaign threads, it is an important message on a key vote which needs to get out. Therefore, I've got to go with the overwhelming majority who is supportive.

I predict we’ll be hearing a lot more about McCain’s “right-wing smear tactics” if he becomes the nominee. I wouldn’t count on McCain’s moderate/independent support to hold out once the media gets done portraying him as a foaming right-wing attack dog.

No kidding. I hardly think this statement of undeniable fact about Romney’s past statements is a dirty trick. These are all important social issues, and therefore fair game.
