Did not see it posted yet, here we go folks!
Because there are people who don’t buy into the social conservative agenda, but still hate the democrats.
We don’t have to run liberal candidates, but we better find a way to not turn off the liberal republicans, or else they will be moderate democrats and we will never win an election.
Reagan found a way to get those people into the party. He had democrats switching to the republican party — and they weren’t 100% conservatives, but they were willing to say they were republicans, which gave us the power to enact conservative policies.
But the more we lost conservatives who stopped acting that way, the more we take it out on the “liberals”, which just makes it harder to elect conservatives.
IT isn’t some liberal’s fault what Gingrich and DeLay and Hastert and the other so-called conservatives we elected did in congress.
I think Ron Paul said he was going to win it.
I don’t think they’ll be a terrorist attack before Nov. Not as long as Bush is in office and I may not like some of what he’s done, the rest of the world hates him and he’s not soft on terrorism and they know that. I respect him and what he’s done for this country since 9-11.
I think our next major terrorist attack will happen with the next president and I sure don’t want it to happen if Hillary is president. Or any dem for that matter. McCain would probably not be soft on terrorism and I do respect his military service and his stand on the WOT. But no military guy I know supports him and there’s a reason for that imo. They say they don’t trust him (my fam and friends in the military and former military).
I do think if we get someone like Hillary or Obama or Edwards, then we will have another terrorist attack because they won’t do anything about it and the terrorists know that.
I’m still shocked that so many forget 9-11 and the aftermath. It’s like it never happened. Part of me says, hell these people deserve it for being so stupid but I live here and I sure as hell don’t deserve it. We have a very short attention span anymore. It sucks.
Just one question: Who were the people who voted for Fred Thompson, Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo? (other than the ill informed) Fred got 21,000+ votes. Not bad for someone not even in the race.
Hey there, good to see you.
Have been thinking of you and hope things are well for you.
The same folks who go back 18 years on Romney are just thrill McCain won so go figure....
McCains vote on gay marriage could strain GOP relationships

While I believe otherwise (at least for the major MSM sans Fox), that's not the point.
Despite "trying", they get it wrong. This influences the downstream vote. This amounts to election tampering.
And the fact that they get it wrong consistently overestimating the results for "their candidates" (make no mistake they have them!), is a telling observation to any fair observer.
The MSM push for instant gratification on election night is skewing peoples voting....it did in 2000 and damn near cost us the election. It was less determinate in 2004, but was still evident.
Tonight, CNN ran with Romneys numbers consistently 20,000 less than the State was reporting on their excellent website.
Maybe your partially right...."they were trying..."
Not if they wear their conservatism on their sleeve. He don’t really like conservatives.
There was a post on FR the other day asking the question why aren’t more Catholics running for office? The answer is:
“What sane person would want to put themselves through this kind of political frenzy?”
-—My brother told me tonight he is no longer a Republican. I aksed, What are you now? He said, PISSED!-—
Is good one! :^)
That was soooooo clear in the last debate.
Yep...sorry to say.
“Tonite it was Guiliani endorsing McLame.”
What ?...did i miss something ?...did Guili drop out, or did he just congratulate McCain ?...why would he drop out now ?
You’re a little late with your stupid propaganda.

I highly recommend Praying for our country.
Quite a book, and a penny book on Amazon at that. That does look fascinating — and one I would share with my grandmother who told me all about our family’s lineage she had traced back.. thank you!
Excellent summation. I don’t think the bigwigs want change either. Romney is change personified. The powers that be want to keep the same old buddy system in place. I will not show up to vote for McCain. If fact we would be better off with a Democrat.
He wants to be an insider too. They all do except for Mitt.
WOW
He pulled it off
I didnt think McCain could do it
If he is the GOP nominee congresswoman Marsha Blackburn would be a good VP
Shes from the south and a REAL conservative
She takes no nonsense from anyone...
Shes about the same age as Obama, Is lifetime pro-life, Pro-troops, strong on defence
She worked hard against illegal aliens, and has been to Iraq several times
If people think they were voting for her alone we would have a chance
