That is good to know.

Are you checked off? If not, could you go to another poll location and vote again.

In Virginia you have to vote at the same place, submit ID and you are checked off against the list of registered voters at that location.

The best I can hope for now is that Obama sinks Hillary for the RAT nomination. In spite of the media propping up Obama, however, I think that’s highly unlikely — just a gut feeling that the Clinton’s have had it in the bag since day 1, and nothing anyone says or does (or votes) is going to change that, period.

In fact, I wouldn’t put it past them (well, I wouldn’t put ANYTHING past them, really!) to have engineered McCain’s win, since that will insure their win.

Actually, I should have said large black populations and academics of any stripe.

Grinnell, Drake, Iowa State, U of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa, and...?

Oh, that's right. (Snaps fingers.)

Des Moines Area Community College!

How about "...and states with easily-gulled liberals who will work off about 30 years worth of 'reparations' guilt by voting for Obama over Hillary."

Cheers!

Don’t count on it. I was an Independent for many years and always voted for a Republican President.

Rush has been bashing McCain for 8 years. He is probably very frustrated that what he’s said is not swaying opinions much.

So why do you listen? There's a button that shuts the radio off just like I turn off the liberal media TV when I don't like what I hear.

“Romney is too afraid to touch the illegal immigration issue. But we can hope that he will change his mind. Otherwise................”

What the heck are you talking about? I was listening to Romney out on the stump today talking all about illegal immigration. Don’t just spout how he isn’t talking about it when he is. Romney lost because the old farts all voted for one of their own, McInsane, and because the whole establishment apparatus endorsed McQueeg (the Governor, Senator Martinez, Ross-Lehtman(sp?) Romney was at that point doomed.

I’m retired now, but I am about to go into psychological retirement from politics also. I’ll know how bad it is after Super Tuesday, which it appears will be my last political hurrah. My disgust knows no bounds. The Repubican Party is dead.

I feel your pain. I'm a handful of years from retirement, my BP is creeping up and I am considering chucking politics also. It's always been my observation that people don't want to know the truth, especially about those to whom they entrust so much. Strange.

Please look at the voting records of the candidates before making statements about them:

The people who vote for McCain aren’t really Americans.

There were about 120 million votes cast in 2004.

How many would you say were cast by "real Americans"?

Ten years ago the Clinton Chinese Mafia was using the INS as a Voter Registration service. Just like they will be doing in 2 years. But our Walk and Water conservatives will have Clean Hands.

Pray for W and Our Troops

Daily Keating 5 Updates after the convention, bet on it

Although Hillary Clinton would obviously rather she be President than John McCain, the Democrats would have more power under a McCain presidency than under a Democrat presidency.

Why do you think Huckabee supporters would vote for someone responsible for $50.00 abortions on demand and wants sodomites in the military?

I have talked to quite a few evangelicals who voted for Huckabee (I tried to talk them into voting for Hunter) who said they will never vote for Romney.

I just don’t see all those voters going to Romney. Maybe a few who don’t know about his Mass. record but the one’s who do, won’t vote for him

They are patient people. They know the pandering for the hispanic vote will pay off down the line when George P. Bush is poised to run for President.

I hate John McCain.

He’s part of the incumbents that should be replaces in primaries, not on the way to a Republican Presidential Nomination.

What the F is wrong with this country?

Of course. But it is even more insidious than that. A society, without a strong male figure, is weaker. A mom working full time because that is what society has told her is more important than raising children, has weakened society. It’s all about the seduction of “stuff” and the competition of “who’s on first”. It’s like watching people trying to compete on a treadmill to nowhere. Their self esteem is so tied to what the world tells them it should be, it’s frightening.

Even Reagan failed on his first attempt at the WH.

I think a big part of Romney's problem is that he isn't a household name whereas McCain is. Even if things don't go Romney's way in 2008, he's young, he's achieved national name recognition and can be a leading contender in future elections.

Wrong, they have not been in San Diego for 150 years.
The Spanish speaking people who were here for a time came from Spain not Mexico. A huge difference.
