Well, this doesn’t mean jack to me what people claimed they saw. These people were interviewed by the FBI.
The people who claim a cover up, do so because they dislike Clinton. I dislike Clinton too, a lot, but we aren’t going to win any election by sounding like a bunch of 9110truthers.
The scientific evidence does not bear out a missile. If it does in the end, I will go along with it. But people who make claims of missile, have not examined the evidence nor are most people are qualified to do so. They cannot site any thing other than kook websites and coast-to-coast am.

If it were one or two folks, I'd agree with you. But the map of people who saw the flame/smoke rise from the ocean shows far too many people with far too many different angles for there to be much doubt *something* went up and hit the aircraft.
I spent hundreds of hours as a kid at the beach watching aircraft land and takeoff at JFK, and to me this is a personal thing, not a political thing.

The people who claim a cover up, do so because they dislike Clinton. Please! I admit I dislike (detest, really) the Clintons. But I've said that Ronald Reagan would have done the same thing as Clinton did. The country just isn't ready to hear that its Navy shot down a 747 full of people.
You want evidence? Eyewitness reports are evidence. Debris field maps are evidence. Whatever James Sanders presented was evidence. ATC radar is evidence. The activation of the Military Warning Area is evidence. Usw.
But you don't want to see, so nothing happened.

Show me the science! - You choose a lonely path. Regarding all those witnesses, to the best of my knowledge, NOT ONE reported, on the same night of the incident, anything vaguely resembling "I just saw a missile take out an airliner". Certainly no news outlet that I watched that night said "witnesses tell ABCCBSNBC that a missile rose from the ocean..." etc. When the accident happened there were NO witnesses certain of a missile. Curiously, days later they became convinced.

After noticing a red residue on several (rows 17-19) passenger seats within the rows in which the explosives PETN and RDX were detected (rows 15-25), lead TWA Investigator and Head Pilot Terrel Stacey brought the residue to the attention of FBI investigators. Weeks later, the FBI refused to share its laboratory results on the residue, citing evidence in a criminal investigation, prompting Stacey to remove samples of this residue, giving them to James Sanders (author/journalist) who in turn had the residue tested at West Coast Analytical Services (WCAS) in Sante Fe Springs, CA. The results of this test showed high concentrations of elements used in missile fuel and pyrotechnics. The publication of these results in the Press Enterprise newspaper of Riverside, California received national press coverage, prompting the FBI to make a series of public statements concerning the residue and their dissatisfaction with Stacey's and Sanders' actions.

"Show me the science! "The radar image was shown in a previous tv account similar to this one.

“Show me the science!”
Good luck with that. The evidence was never properly handled, catalogued and archived. No one is ever gonna be able to examine this scientifically.
