Then you're not helping the situation. I'm voting for neither of the above. Liberal Republicans can't win without conservative votes. I'm refuse to vote for a liberal, regardless of his party affiliation.

You seem to reflect the feeling of many. These things are worrisome but Senator McCain seems to have steadily made himself appear, given his past, as the greater risk.
